A big THANK YOU to Robin.
I recieved your package of Starburst today. I'll take out Pudd'ns favorites and give the rest to his class room. Others are not as picky on what flavor they get, as long as it is candy.

Why does it take so long for the body to heal as you get older? I had a massage on Friday and I'm just NOW starting to feel better from it. Why am I so knotted up? It hurt my neck to even wear a necklace this weekend. I'm really irritated that I was in that accident. That lady sure screwed up my life right now. Blah!
I keep asking my self "what was the lesson here?"
Don't eat so much fast food?
I'm just sitting there, minding my own buisness and she comes barreling in to me. I still get back flashes and I'm uber paranoid about people behind me now.
I am having fun with the rental short bus they gave me. So many fun bells & whistles.
Poor Goat Puppy got car sick yesterday and puked all over my house and yard. My next home will definitly have hard wood or tile flooring. I refuse to have carpet any more.

Do you have a penny to spare?
If so, send it with a nice get well card to this little girl. I got this site via the lovely Lisa over at Lemons & Lollipops.

Good times, great friends and a house full of little dogs.........
My witchie friends came over last night. They brought their dogs too......5 dogs total plus my two. It was mini dog park at my casa last night. And it seemed every dog was hell bent on shitting all over my yard. No sooner than you'd get a pile picked up, some one else was shitting or pissing on something. It was like they all held it in until they got to my place. Then we were attacked by flys! This is the worse year yet that we have had them. We actually had to go sit in my hot little house until the sun went down. Athena & I started a compititon to see who could kill the most flies. I killed 20 to her 2. Then the dogs started fighting over Goat Puppy's chew toys. It was hysterical. Dogs barking, snarling and owners yelling. Hearing the commotion the pizza boy had the most comical look on his face when he delievered the pizza. Finally everything settled down and we got to sit out side and relax. I whipped out a few tarot readings after the divine Ms. M mixed me a drink. That girl knows how to pour a good one! It was a good time and great to see everyone.

Oh you Wicked WandaWaaaaaaay back when I was just a young lass, I aquired the nick name "Wicked Wanda". How you ask barflys? Good question. Either Penthouse or Playboy used to have a cartoon about a voluptuous, black haired vixen that wore black books. My friend Mitch started calling me "Wicked Wanda" because.....well......I was voluptous, had dark hair and I wore black boots. I used to love to call Spaz at her old job and when they'd ask "who's calling", I of course would say "Wicked Wanda". The receptionist used to get such a kick out of that. The nick name has stuck with my Michigan friends. So when I went out to the store today and saw they had Halloween decorations out, I had to go check them out. Imagine my delight when I came across this sign!!!! I HAD to have it! Spaz got a good laugh out of it when I sent her a photo of it. Now I just have to email one off to Mitch.

My house is too quiet.
I miss Pudd'n.
I dropped him off at my mom's earlier this morning because there was a lot I wanted to get done around the house. I got most of it accomplished before my back started acting up. So I took a shower and layed down to read a book. The book is finished, my house semi clean and too damn quiet. I miss my son. Steve and I are suppose to go out tonight to the harbor for some calamari. Maybe we can take the Goat Puppy with us. The short bus was taken in to the shop on Tues, but won't be looked at until tomorrow. They've given me a 06 short bus and this thing is niiiiiiiiice. No puke stains in it what so ever (like mine has).

I bought the entire box.

And drunken tarot card readings of course.

Pudd'n has been up since 3 am.
It's flipp'n HOT today again. It would not be so bad if there was no humidity. I got the short bus in for repairs and they gave me a 06 short bus to drive. The side windows go down and Pudd'n thinks thats just "the shit". He was such an angel while shopping I took him to his favorite place to eat. Now I'm trying to get up the strength to take him to the pool.
I'm tired, hot, cranky and so is my poor child.

Lisa provided me with a link for those who would like to express through email to the people at Starburst how important it is to bring back Tropical punch and Kiwi banana flavors.
Thanks for providing the link Lisa and thank you Dana for offering to call. It got through my thick skull that if you were willing to call, maybe some others would too. So I hit up everyone in my address book. My friend Rita even forwarded to the people in her book. I just may get those flavors back for my boy with the help of some great friends.

Starburst Candies is screwing with my little autistic world. They have "new tropical flavors". They replaced two "old" flavors and put in two new ones. Can you guess which flavors they ditched? Yep, Pudd'ns favorites. That is the only candy he'll eat and it's only those two flavors. Those were the best motivators for speech and other things to get him to comply. I called the company and lodged a complaint. If they get enough complaints, they may bring back the "old" flavors.

How hot was it yesterday? Damn hot let me tell you! This photo of the Goat Puppy was taken at 6:30 pm last night in an air conditioned room. Poor thing was panting up a storm. We don't have central a/c, but we do have two room a/c. One in the living room (where this was taken) and one in Pudd'ns room. It was so unbearable last night when we went to bed, we had two fans on us and every window in the house opened up.

Sorry Eric, no guns were fired. But they were damn impressive looking!

DS: Hey! What are you up to?
Me: you are never going to believe this! I had the swat team in my yard!
Me: Swat team! Sheriffs! Automatic rifles!
DS: Moooooooommmmmmm! Maeve had the swat team in her yard!
Step Mom yells in back ground: Maeve! What did you do this time!
Me: Honest! it wasn't my fault! I didn't do it!!!
Geez! Family! Feel the love!
My step mom used to be a nurse at a local jail house. I used to love the stories she had about the inmates and the crazy shit they'd try and pull. You don't screw with my step mom. She's tiny, but fearless.

And how is YOUR weekend going? I left my house at 3:30 to pick up Babs. I notice 4 cop cars on a side street as I leave. At 4:40 Steve gets home and calls me. Apparently at the house directly behind us, there is a swat team and sheriffs! They have guns drawn and are trying to talk Mr. H to come out with his hands up. By the time I get home at 6pm there are fire trucks, ambulances and the side street is blocked off. Everyone here in the village is hanging about. Steve takes me in to our back yard to show me. I snap these photos and this guy asked me to get down. Not 10 minutes later there is a knock at our gate. I thought I was going to get in trouble, but it turned out the swat team wanted to sit on my roof!!! Goat Puppy is all excited because he thinks he has new friends to play with. Steve grabs a ladder and just as the guys start to climb, the guy gives up! They then spend the next 20 minutes getting him arrested. The 3 swat guys watched from the same vantage point I just had. Babs is trying to find out on line just what all this was about. Just Damn!

Yesterday I ate crappy foods all day and now I'm feeing the effects of it. We went our for some dinner and a movie. We went to Stadium because they had good bread pudding and a nice happy hour menu. We've eaten there before and enjoyed it. Not any more. We walk in and the music is blaring. Mind you, there were only 4 people in the whole large bar including ourselves. No need for it to be loud so we asked for it to be lowered. The waitress was more interested in socializing then making sure our dining expierence was good. Hell, I had to go get my own damn menus! The food was crappy, the buffalo wings were like jerky and when she finally brought out dessert it was cold. Cold bread pudding is gross. We asked her to take it off the bill and we left. Oh yeah, when Johnny Cash came on, the music got suddenly even lower. I don't know what the hell they were playing before, but they obviously had no taste in music if they lower o'l Johnny!
Since we both still had a sweet tooth, we went for some ice cream and then to see the new pirates movie. We really enjoyed the special effects. It was amazing and cannot wait for the 3rd installment.
Today is the last day of school! I made it with out beating some children that desperetly needed it.
I'm just glad it's all over.

I'm looking forward to a nice evening home with my boys when the phone rings.
Slappy needs me to come in, his kid can't make it.
Turns out there is a concert in town and all the resturants are at this venue hocking their wares to intice new customers.
Slappy takes our cheif and heads on out.
Leaving me with 2 cooks that DONT speak English and a credit card machine that does not work.
Mariano thougt he'd be cute and ask me to speak only Spanish. I told him "fuck you, I've worked with you for 4 years, speak ENGLISH".
The repair man came for the credit card machine and was able to fix it.
I fixed him one of my kick ass margaritas.
He stayed for dinner and another drink.
Then this body builder guy came in and his date kept him waiting over an hour.
I could smell her perfume over the sauteed onions & garlic.
She looked like a walking barbie doll.
Lucky for me, they were nice, polite and tipped well.
Now it is time for me to crawl in to bed and fight pudd'n for my spot.

I've known the owner of this shop for 4 years now and he's a very nice man. He's also worn a toupee ever since I've known him. It's one of those nicer kind, that you really don't notice it until you get stand in front of him.
It's been a while since I've seen him and when I walked in, I saw he was no longer wearing the rug.
What do you say?
Do you say "nice change"? or something like that.?
I just kept complete eye contact while chatting with him.

All you have to do to change your life is to change your mind.
I have to keep reminding myself to focus on what I do want.
Not what I don't want.
Some days it is not so easy to do that.
Pudd'n had a good day in school and that makes me very happy. He even signed "good morning" to the teacher! And at lunch he signed "help" when he wanted help opening one of his goodies in his lunch box. Before you know it, he'll be signing one of mommy's words "fuck you".
I say goddamn it more than I say fuck you.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.
I'm feeling a bit better today. Some days it just gets to be too much. You jump through hoops and do your best. But you still feel like you are not doing enough. It always feels that you are not doing enough and you are just too tired to feel like trying any more. And when I'm talking about one way relationships, that covers family and friends.
I'm also worried about the van. We are worried that the damage will be more than what the van is worth. I know for a fact we can't handle a car payment! I'm STILL waiting for a damn adjuster. State F. called yesterday to inform me that since Ms.M (the lady that hit me) had purchased the extra insurance on the rental car she was in when she hit me, THEY will be taking care of everything. So I'm suppose to wait for THEIR adjuster to call. I asked for a phone number to hopefully expidite things. I'm paying out of pocket for my medical right now and I just want to get the van fixed. They give me a number, but it is no help.
Even more fustration that I just don't need right now.

I swear to God/dess that there is no such thing as a silver lining in a dark cloud. Its a bunch of horse shit to convince yourself that everything is going to be ok when it is blatantly obvious that life just fucking sucks.
I'm tired of autism. I'm tired of 2nd guessing every goddamn move I make when it comes to my son.
What does he want?
Am I doing enough?
Am I doing too much?
Will this treatment work?
Will he ever talk?
Why does this treatment work for every other kid but not my own?
Who is going to take care of him when I'm dead and buired?
Another thing I'm sick of is one way relationships.
I'm just pretty sick of it all right now.
I'm tired of trying to see the positive and just getting kicked in the teeth.

What is it about me that I only attract old men that don't speak English?
Tonight at work we had a party going on. It was a five course meal complete with French wines to accompany each entree.
Two French men were there that were representing the wine. They ended up on my station.
During the course of all the meals and the glasses of wine that was consumed. Mr. Frenchie started flirting heavily with me. That is when I drop the sublte hints I'm married with children.
Now mind you, I don't wear a wedding band or rings of any sort. Between waitressing and bartending, I fuck up a lot of rings. So I only wear cheap shit if anything at all.
Mr. Frenchie does not believe me, so when Steve comes to pick me up (I knew I'd be drinking a lot of wine and did not want to drive) I motion for him to come in. At first he was not going to until I mouthed "get your fucking ass in here NOW" .
He walks in and sees Mr. Frenchie undressing me with his eyes and insisting on a kiss. Steve starts laughing at me.
We get out to the car and Steve is rolling by then.
Yeah you are so fucking funny sweetheart.
"boy he had the hots for you!"
Then he starts spouting off on how much money he thinks he can get for me.
So much for spousal love!
It seems I only attrack older men that barely speak English.
My high light of the evening is when Slappy told me I could drink what ever I wanted as long as I got my food out.
Yeah, that is an easy task!
Should of brought my tarot cards and did some readings while I was at it!

I'm going for a massage today. I'm doing a little pampering for myself after the accident this week. I've gotten a manicure, waxed my unibrow and tomorrow I'll get a much needed hair cut. Then I have to color my hair.

My head whipped back and my knees came up and hit the dash. Pudd'n is ok. I have whip lash and am waiting for Steve to get home with the drugs and some whiskey.

Did I really eat & drink that much yesterday?
I'm paying for it today! I'm all sorts of bloated and uncomfortable. I've been doing really good with eating well balanced meals and yesterday that all went out the window with all the crap I ate at the fair and then at work.
I should be on the treadmill sweating this stuff off, but some how laying around curlded up with Pudd'n in bed sounded better.
Yesterday was definitly a day that makes you thankful for the disability you do have. It was evident that some people have a more challanging life then we do. Kids wearing football helmets complete with face guards because of seziures. I saw one little boy with no eyes and of course the kids that were confined to a wheel chair.
The day did not go as smoothly as we would of liked. Pudd'n wanted to go on some rides that were not open to us and he did not understand that. So we had a few tantrums to deal with.
Last night at work I had a whopping 3 tables to wait on. When its that slow, we usually start eating and since Steve drove me to work, I could have a few drinks.
So today Iam paying for my indulgence. I feel like a slug.

I stole this from my friend Venus. I don't know where she found this add, it is not a fake.
Here's the thing, ladies.. I don't mind waiting until the 4th date, the 4th week, or the 4th month before we bring it to that level... However, once we do, we need to be compatible, and I am a freak!! I am into BDSM (Dom), anal, roughness, fantasies, role playing, possible partner sharing (mfm, and this is not a must), and all sorts of other things... I don't want to meet a woman, fall in love, and then find out we are completely incompatible in the bedroom.. Has happened before, and I don't want to be there again! What a difference a weekend makes.
Remember last weekend with the horrible experience at the shoe store?
Old biddy saying in front of me "makes you grateful you have normal kids"
Yeah that one.
Well we figured we'd try going out for breakfast today. Going to any type of eating establishment is highly stressfull for us. Will Pudd'n behave? Will he eat? Will he behavior vomit?
The place we went to today served breakfast and lunch all day, so we knew we could order a few things for Pudd'n to choose from. We've only been to this place one other time before.
Pudd'n walks right up. No fussing.
We get in and order. He's an angel.
Granted he's "stemming" a little, it's keeping him calm.
I went over to fill our sodas and the little old lady that took our order came over to fill the straws (that were beyond full mind you).
She remarked : oh, do you practice writing on that tablet?
(I had one of Pudd'ns write on wipe off toys)
Lady: What a beautiflu son you have, he's really handsome.
Me: thank you, he is the light of my life.
From there we had a splendid breakfast. Pudd'n ate his pancakes and my french fries. When he was done, he and I waited out front for Steve so we would not have to worry about the vomit situation. Steve finished his breakfast quickly and we were on our merry way.
We were as close to "normal" as we'll ever get while eating out.

Oh you are just going to love this up date on the fucking moron.
We briefly saw FM and Lisa on the 4th. They went to the party on the beach with the rest of the family while we played in the pool. Later on when every one went to Aunt Selma's for the bbq, Bart actually asked for a glass of wine.
Bart is FIFTEEN years old.
And need I remind you barflys BOTH of his parents are substance abusers.
Aunt Selma refused.
FM spouts out with "just let him have it, he smokes dope any way".
Aunt Selma of course refused.
FM is just the father of the year eh?

Ok, I'm a little calmer now about how much my up coming trip is costing me. I usually don't pay for hotels when I go home because all of my family is there and I can always stay with some one. The only time I pay for a hotel room is in Vegas and there usually is 2-3 other girls to share the cost of the rooms.
I'm freaking out a little more because in Sept., I don't get a paycheck from the school district and in Oct., it's only half a pay check.
So yeah, I'm freak'n.
Oh and get this!
You have to pay to get some food on your flight!
Screw that, I'm packing on real food on my flight. And several flasks too of course.

Fuck me running.
My step mom got the prices wrong for the hotel.
The discount price is $89.
At least I'll have a king bed alllll to myself.
I'm going to be paying more for the hotel than the air fare. I'm flying AA for $310.
Have to drive up to LAX for that price.
Spaz won't be able to make it either. She just got a new job and is too afraid to ask for the time off. She's already getting a week off w/o pay this month for her family vacation. So it looks like I won't be able to meet Paul on the way up to my brothers.
I'm bummed about that.

It is HOW for the hotel room?! I asked my step mom.
$80 mother fucking, cocksucking, goddamn dollars!
And THAT is the discounted price.
Looks like my trip to Michigan juuuust got a hell of a LOT shorter!
I had a mini heart attack too at air fares until I switched from SNA to LAX. That saved me $200.
But that hotel?
It is supposedly the only hotel there.
Why the fuck does my brother have to live in B.F.E.?
I told my step mom I'd room with some one.
And I sure as hell don't care if it's one of my brother's buddies either.
Just make sure there are two beds and put the damn toilet seat down.
Thats all I ask.

My sun flowers are huge and my plumerias are pretty.
Hot damn, it's the weekend!
And I've got another long one to boot! We don't have school on Mondays and tues I'm taking off to take Pudd'n to the fair. Every year the fair opens on one day early for disabled folks and their family. From 9-12 select rides are free. I can't wait!

Ugh, I'm still dog ass tired.
I attended my monthly ritual with other witches of O.C.
I got to "smudge" everyone before they entered. For those who don't know what that is, I fan a smudge stick made of sage and other dried goodies over the people to help them get rid of the "ickies" that may have attached them selfs to that person in the day. Also the smell of the sage helps raise your vibrations and gets you ready for ritual.
What really cracks me up is that burning sage smells like pot.
Any way, we got out late as usual and I'm whipped. The alter was stunning, I'm pissed I forgor my camera. I would of loved a picture of it.

He's whipped too, I can't get him up! Poor thing is still very tired from all of yesterday's festivities. All of us went to bed at 8pm last night. Pudd'n and I passed out at 8:05 pm.
I hope I can get him up soon and he's in a good mood. I don't need any problems with him at school. Hope every one had a great holiday weekend.

I am whipped and not in a good way.
Pudd'n got me up at ass crack of dawn.
Got lotsa shit done around the house though! We headed to Aunt Selma's for the 4th. This is the first time in 30 years we don't have the beach house. We could go down to the pool or walk over to the beach. We opted for the pool. Muuuuuch quieter and I just did not feel like dragging our shit down to a crowded beach for him to play an hour tops. He's not so much in to the beach like he used to be.
We played 3 hours in the pool non stop.
I greased us up a 2nd time with sun screen, but I think we still are a little crispy. Now it is time just to kick back and relax.

Some days I just get so tired of Autism.........
Pudd'n needed a new pair of shoes. We get his shoes at Stride rite* since he has really wide feet. Pudd'n never likes to get new shoes, just fucks with his little autistic world. So while I am paying for said shoes, Pudd'n violently shoves another child in the store. Talk about being mortified!!!! Steve starts apologising profusly and I'm sending the sales lady a "hurry the fuck up and ring this shit up!!" vibe. Lucky for us, the parents were gracious, they understood. Steve gave Pudd'n the bums rush and waited for us outside. Meanwhile the old biddy that was helping the parent with the normal child starts babbling. I don't think she realized I was the mother and starts saying to father of the normal child "Oh, that must be so hard, makes you grateful YOU don't have to live like that".
Yeah, that's fucking right lady.
We make everyone thankful for their nice normal little life.
The father continued to be gracious and brush off the ladies comments.
I just wanted the floor to open up and swallow me.
I left the store and Pudd'n let us know he wanted to go up to the food court. We make our way up to the CROWDED food court. I tell Steve to go to McD's and get the fries. I'd take Pudd'n and go to the pizza place.
We get to the pizza place, Pudd'n points to the cheese pizza and promptly pukes.
All over his new shoes.
All over my shoes.
I don't have my phone, I can't get Steve.
Pudd'n still wants the damn pizza.
I drag his ass, catch Steve and march out of the mall.
Some days, it just gets too damn much.

I've been thinking about Rob a lot lately, lighting candles and saying prayers for him. I never had the pleasure of meeting the man and in the 3 years that I've been reading his blog; we've only exchanged maybe 5 brief emails. I can't claim to have a special relationship as some do in the blog world, but the man still touched me none the less. He reminded me a lot of my dear departed Grandpa that I miss a lot.
Well today when we were at the beach a man was walking twards us and he had on a Georgia Bull Dogs shirt. I remember how much of a fan Rob was. Since I was thinking of Rob as this man happened upon us, I thought to myself "maybe this is Rob's little sign of letting me know he's ok". My next thought was "naaaaa, why would he bother with you?" Soon as that though entered my head Steve bent down, picked up a rock and said "hey, this looks like a guitar pick".
Maybe he did just stop by to say "hi".

Last year when Steve was coming home for lunch, he had noticed a large rock in the road and cars avoiding it. Then the rock moved. So Steve stopped and picked up the rock, which turned out to be a red eared slider turtle. We looked for a few weeks for any signs of a missing turtle, nothing. A year later we are tired of cleaning out a kiddie pool for the turtle and after repeated emails to a turtle rescue. They finally came through. Speedy the turtle is now living large in a pool with 18 other sliders. She has caves to hide in, bark to bury in and other friends to keep her company. Steve was blown away by this guy's house. It was 5, 500 sq ft!!!
Hear that? Nope, me either. It is the sound of blessed silence. Again, last year we aquired a new pet. It was the birds. A friend of a friend was moving out of state and could not take the birds. I agreed to take them ONLY because they were outside birds. I know how messy those little fuckers are and didn't want that in my house. Well, they are cockatiels and noisy little shits. I just gave them to a co worker of my mother in law. She's got a daughter that has always wanted one. Well, now she has two. She's out of school for the summer, so she'll be able to hand tame them. And what is really nice is that it is still early enough in the day to pack our asses up and go spend a few hours at the beach!
