My neck is finally unlocked and the garage sale went well. I sold a few soaps and some of my perfume.
Today we went to one of our many state parks for a nice hike. I actually ran into one of my students there. She and her family go camping at this location all the time. When we got back, I took Pudd'n to the pool. I'm whipped to say the least. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Steve is on his way to get me a bottle of pain killer.
Jim Beam Babs will be staying tonight so she can sell her wares at tomorrow's garage sale. I've got my stock split up between me & my mom because where she lives, they are having one too. I've got some "Desire Me" oil to go with the soap. We'll see how that sells. I've got a few more orders. Oh yeah, Mother's day is coming up. BUY MY SOAP!

It never ceases to amaze me at how much teenagers can eat.
Especially boys. Holy mother of pearl can those boys pack away food! We've had the STAR testing this week and I brough in snacks & drinks for the breaks. I had a Krispy Kreme coupon buring a hole in my wallet and used it up. The boys had a race to see who could eat the most donuts in the least amount of time. I was afraid to go near the table for fear of losing a limb to the feeding frenzy. Wish it was that easy to feed Pudd'n.

Well I'm feeling pretty accomplished.
I went down to the stables and on most of the little bulletin boards in the barns I put up my business card. I also stopped by Aw*kenings and put an ad in their little magazine. Lucky for me, Geraldine wasn't there. The new owners fixed up the place real good too. All my packages are sealed and ready for me to mail them out on my way to work. And now I just need to make some Aquarius soap and I'll have enough small stock to split between me & my mom. Turns out both of our community garage sales are this weekend. So she'll sell some of my soap and so will I. Babs will come over Fri night for booze, pizza and pricing of priceless junk we will be selling. MMMMMMmmmmm. I can taste my neighbor's tamales now. I just hope I don't spend all my money on them.

Ugh!
My period needs to start now damn it! I'm bloated, cranky and it feels like I'm being kicked in the back non stop. We are almost done with the first round of tests for Pudd'n. My freezer is full of shit (no really, it's full of shit) and the 24 hour urine test went out yesterday. Thanks to my friends and their wonderful idea of the cellophane, I've been able to get the fecal test for the past two days. Today will make day three and we can ship it out tomorrow. What is really fun about collecting the test is you can't just take one little scoop and be done. Oh no barflys! You have to fill it "to the line" and take it from different spots. So while poor Steve is rooting around in Pudd'ns shit, I'm trying to wipe the kid's ass and he's looking at us as if were are completely bat shit (no pun intended). Now aren't you glad you stopped by my place today? Get to hear about ALL these bodily functions! Well, if Dana stopps by, I'm sure it won't bug her. She'll be a nurse soon and she too will have fun like I am. Only she'll get paid to root around in some one's shit.

I got to talk to my dad a while back. We are both excited about my brother's upcoming wedding. It seems dad has got a new digital camera and he's learning to down load photos. He thought he'd be cute and threaten to email my hub "blackmail" photos from the wedding.
I laughed and replied: "Uh dad, there is nothing you could show or tell Steve that he hasn't seen me do in the past 15 years" "Now if you want to send him a picture of me drinking a glass of water and behaving myself; or better yet me kneeling and saying the rosary THEN you might shock him." "Yeah, good point" was his reply.

The day turned out better than we planned.
Bart, Lisa and Maggie showed up on our door step at the appointed time. Where is your father? we asked. Bart: oh he had a tooth ache and won't make it Me: Really? Don't you mean he is too hung over and won't make it? Bart: well......yeah that too......... I'm glad the fucking moron didn't come with us and at the same time I'm irriateded that he did not come. It cost MONEY to buy that ticket and he's flaking. Lucky for me Dru and her hottie fiancee were planning on going up. I just left the ticket at Will Call for them. We ran in to them and DAMN does Mike look FUCKING HOT in a kilt!!!!!!!! Dru looked pretty damn delicious herself with that courset! We ate, I drank and shopped to my heart's content. We saw the kids ONCE the entire time we were there. It was a good day.

A solution of sorts.........
Bart & Lisa have an older half sister named Maggie from the Cunt's first marriage. Maggie has recently come back in to Bart & Lisa's life the past two years. Apparently she's going to drive them and the fucking moron up to the Ren. fair tomorrow. Fine and dandy! We'll give them the tickets and send them on their merry way; meet up with Dru and have a nice NORMAL time. Ok, if it's me & Dru.....it will be "Abby Normal".

Tomorrow we are going up to the Ren. fair. I'm a bit nervous because of FM. I know he's either going to show up drunk to our house (he's meeting us here with the kids at 9am) or he's going to try and start drinking once we get there.
I know I can't control him and his actions, I can only control how I react to him. It is hard to stay calm and rational when all you can think of is the pain he's caused. All the money thrown down the drain, the stress, the filth he keeps those kids living in and the fact that when he finally DOES kill him self with the bottle; the cunt will end up with the kids. The only reason he stayed with the Cunt for so long is because she would enable him. He just had to show up with the paycheck and she took care of everything. Fuck, he didn't even know how to write a check when she fianlly threw him out. Hell, he'd still be with her now! She used to beat the shit out of him too. He regualrly had black eyes and scratches on his face. And you know what else really pisses me off? That Cunt used abortion as a form of birth control and I can think of several women who are trying their damndest to get pregnant even once. The Cunt was a horrible mother too. Ugh, enough ranting about those fucking morons. See? This is what they do to me. Get me all riled up because they are too fucking inconsiderate to step up to the plate and be parents and responsible adults.

Well, I sort of can. Not looking forward to the stress FM is going to cause when he starts drinking. Shit, I'm too tired to hold a train of thought. Later.

Yesterday some drunk was driving the canyon and took out a telephone pole. This screwed up some fiber and since Steve was on call, he got to go out and earn some over time. Which means I did not go in to work. Fine by me. I took Pudd'n to the pool and then came home to watch the rest of the miserable game that Detroit played. I shouldn't bitch, they won 12 straigh on road games already.
Speaking of drunks, we are taking FM and his kids to the Ren. Fair this weekend. We had purchased the tickets early in the year before he started drinking again. I wonder if he is actually going to try and drink in front of us. I'm trying not to project or put energy in to such negative thoughts, but given the pattern I've seen the past 15 years.......*shudders* Pudd'ns B12 shot went well yesterday. But Candy will be going on a short vacation end of next week, which mean I'll have to give the shot! Forget Steve, he can't even handle the sight of needles! Lucky me.

Well the hub and I went throught the box of tests that we will do on Pudd'n.
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! Talk about intensive! There is a hell of a lot more to do this time around. They want not only one, but a three day stool sample from Pudd'n. And you can't just scoop it out of the toliet. Oh no barflys! You have to catch it before it hits the water. And did I tell you that Pudd'n does not like to shit with an audience? Yeah, it's going to be real fun. The urine & hair samples are easy enough. It's the stool sample that is going to be a real treat. Today Pudd'n gets his 2nd B12 shot. I hope it goes better this time and I hope we see some results.

I am sad.
This will be the first full summer that Aunt Selma won't have her beach house. Damn, I miss that place. I'm sure she does too. C.Cove will be opened up for business on June 26. Day before Pudd'n turns 10. Maybe me & my mom can go in on renting a cottage for the night to celebrate Pudd'ns birthday. Have a nice little beach party. I can't believe how big my son is getting. I barely have to bend over to kiss the top of his sweet head. On Sat, our neighbor came over to give Pudd'n his b12 shot. She'll be back tomorrow to give another. Candy is a registered nurse. Thank God because it took two of us to hold Pudd'n still. It's just a tiny little needle, but he won't hold still for shit. We've also got the package of tests for the hair, urine and fecal. Oh fun, oh joy! We are testing for mercury and any other toxins. We had done the tests 5 years ago, but this new doctor wants us to do them again. So we'll see.

Y'all remember my B.I.L. "Homer"?
He's no longer going to be called that. I'm going back to his original name of "fucking moron". After TWO years of sobriety, he's drinking again. This is the longest he's ever been sober and he's throwing it all away. He's going to lose his job and we are NOT picking up the pieces for him again. He's going to have to find some one else to raise his kids because we are DONE. Fifteen years of putting up with his crap is enough. He was drinking champane at the brunch yesterday and after slamming his 3rd glass of it his daughter asked him to stop. He refused. So when he wasn't looking, Babs took the salt shaker and poured it in his glass. He sure stopped after that. Fucker. It was a nice day inspite of finding out FM is drinking again. It was great to see Athena, Aussie and their friend M. To Goat Puppy's delight, they brought their little dogs. The food was great and we all pigged out on the wonderful dessert tray. We came back to our place for more finger foods and to kick back. Lili never made it, but Dru did. Unfortunatly by the time Dru got here after doing her family thing, Athena & the girls were ready to go. It had been a long day. Now it is back to reality, spring break is over. *heavy sigh*

My dogs are washed and I've picked up some beer & wine for tomorrow after the brunch. Lili and her crew are suppose to be stopping by after they do the family thing. I've called up Dru and badgered Athena & Aussie in to coming over. All of us have not been together since JUNE OF LAST YEAR!!!!
That is just waaaaaayyyyyyyyy to long damn it! I'm looking forward to brunch tomorrow. It is our annual R.U.F.F. benifit and we can bring the dogs. The food is to die for and the impersonator is very entertaining. I forgot his name, but he's a darn good singer; you think you are hearing a recording of the person (Sinatra, The King, etc..), but it is him. I'm looking forward to the silent auction part too. That is always fun. Plus it is ALL the champane you can drink. MMMMMMMMM Memosa's.

What a great time I had at lunch yesterday. Lili looked fantastic as always. We did our best to catch up on things in the short amount of time she had before her next appointment. What was really ironic was that I got no less than four phone calls during lunch. I NEVER get phone calls durning the day. I'm lucky if any one calls me at all! She is going to see if she and her family can meet us down at the Ren. fair next weekend. I hope so!
After lunch I changed my clothes, grabbed the goat and got my ass on a horse. The weather was beautiful & sunny. Quiet warm too. Goat Puppy had fun running all over and making new friends. He's such a love sponge. I had a great ride on Kip and with any luck today, the rain will hold off and I'll get another ride. The evening ended with a trip to the buy in bulk warehouse store and a hockey game. I even managed to get my floor washed too. I'm going to give L.D. a call today to see if she needs any soap restocked for the weekend. Between tues/wed they sold five bars!

WAITRESSING
Over at LL's place, she was talking about her nice birthday dinner out with the kids. Apparently the place she went to has the servers line dancing every hour or so. Made me think of all the things I've done over the years as a waitress/bartender. Thank God none of them included line dancing. Mostly it was singing happy birthday with a crowd of your fellow servers. I had rented the movie "Waiting" again last weekend and damn, does that movie bring back memories. I used to do or have seen some of the shit that they did in the movie. There is a sceen where "Monty" (don't know the actor's name) is standing there with his shirt half off and in the wise words of Sandy's teenage daughter "I'd like to pour chocolate over him and lick it off". I like to freeze that scene........MMMMM. I think the most fun I had was at my first waitressing job. There was always a party when the place closed for the night and every one was always doing some sort of prank. One of my favorites was the high chairs. Every night they'd be lined up against the wall and you had to saran wrap a cracker & plastic bib on the tray. Well, Andy got bored one night and instead wrapped a steak knife, matches & ash tray on them. I also had to wear an ugly yellow uniform with that job. I used to wear a garter belt under that ugly dress and lacy bras too. I was only 16. Waitressing at the Harb*r House in my 20's was fun too. We'd take trips down to Mexico together and go shopping after our shifts. My saddest memory there was when Audry snuck out to go party with a friend one night and drove home drunk from a bar. She decapitated herself when she hit the center divider on the freeway.

One of my favorite songs............
"House Of The Risin' Sun"There is a house down in New Orleans they call the rising sunAnd it's been the ruin of many a poor girl and me, oh God, I'm one.My mother was a tailor, she sowed these new blue jeansMy sweetheart was a gambler, Lord, down in New Orleans. Now the only thing a gambler needs is a suitcase and a trunkAnd the only time when he's satisfied is when he's on a drunk. He fills his glasses up to the brim and he'll pass the cards aroundAnd the only pleasure he gets out of life is rambling from town to town. Oh tell my baby sister not to do what I have doneBut shun that house in New Orleans they call the rising sun.Well with one foot on the platform and the other foot on the trainI'm going back to New Orleans to wear that ball and chain.I'm going back to New Orleans, my race is almost runI'm going back to end my life down in the rising sun. There is a house in New Orleans they call the rising sunAnd it's been the ruin of many a poor girl and me, oh God, I'm one.

WHO NEEDS TO DRIVE DOWN TO MEXICO WHEN ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS GO TO SANTA ANA........
Sunday we took a drive down to Santa Ana. Steve is taking the school district to court in what is called a "fair hearing", we want more speech therapy in class for Anthony. More one on one. We did not get the desired results the normal way, so this is the next step. Steve wanted to drive down to know exactly where he will be going tomorrow. We saw a shop/resturant across the street from the court house so we stopped in. We were the only white people, hell, I think we were the only whities in the whole city. The tacos were divine! Just like being in Mexico. Nice big carne asada tacos loaded with onion, cilantro and salsa so hot, you'll feel it coming out the other end. Heaven, pure heaven! I've got the week off, but you would not know it. I've been busting my ass getting everything together to sell my wares at the leaky cauldron. The craft store that I get my soap at has been having awsome coupons, so I've been making a lot of trips to the store. I've even came up with a new soap called "Desire me". I'm replacing my Fertility soap with that one. My Evil aunt is still working on a decent web page and my new business cards should hopefully be in by the end of the week. Right now I'm relaxing with a nice glass of heffinwisen in a cool beer glass. Life is good.

Well, the Dr. appointment went well. We are hopeful that he can help us achieve some sort of difference in Pudd'n. Time will tell.
Finally got the lawn mowed, it is so green & lush. I did some light gardening and came across some worms. I gathered them up and fed them to Speedy the turtle. She gobbled them suckers right up. All the bird feeders are filled. I get goldfinches, scrub jays, humming birds, house swallows, doves and a whole bunch of others that I don't know the names to. Speaking of birds, my two cockatiels were fornicating like crazy yesterday. I hope the male is shooting blanks because the last thing I want are babies. That's about it for my "exciting" weekend. Later.

Today we take a long ass drive to try out a new Dr. that is suppose to be good in treating autistic kids.
I'm hoping that he will give us some help. There is no "silver bullet" in treating autism, just luck that you can find something that helps your child.

Grab a box of kleenex.
I found this site through LL. It is a very moving slide show of a Native American Indian's funeral. He was a marine and was buried with honors. http://multimedia.rockymountainnews.com/slideshow/slideshow.cfm?type=DEFAULT&ID=012006lundstrom&NUM=1

Ritual tonight was wonderful as always. Our ritual was to break the bonds of winter and welcome in the spring. We also did some "spring cleaning" of books and other things we did not need and brought them to trade at the end of ritual. A Witches flea market if you will. Pudd'n is also doing a bit of breaking his own bonds. He's breaking the bonds of autism. I brought a dish of tea light candles in pretty little bags. Inside I put Pudd'ns name and a request for a prayer for him. Every one took a one! I was so happy to be getting the extra prayers for him to emerge from his autism. When you light a candle and say a prayer, it packs and extra "punch".
L.D. also told me that she is interested in selling my soaps out of her shop this summer!!! I sold a few bars tonight and passed out my card. My High Priest even put in a special order for some ritual soap he'd like to have. I got to "smudge" the people before they went in for ritual. I've got a really good sage stick for it. My hair smells like sage now, the winds were blowing pretty good this afternoon. Now it is time to unwind, see what's going on in the blog world and go to bed.

Pudd'n is a lucky duck today, his class is going to the movies and then out to lunch! I'm still outta whack from the loss of an hour sleep because of the time change and I actually worked late last night.
I thought it was going to be slow because of the down pour we were having. It was so slow, I figured I'd be home by 7:30. Just as I was ready to wrap things up and cash out, a party of 9 walked in. Hot Damn! I'll make some money after all! These people were "campers" too! They were celebrating a birthday and the birthday girl turned out to be Juan's son's teacher. I got a fat %20 tip, that was nice! I didn't make it home until almost 10 pm. Of course now I have to unwind a bit and Lord have Mercy.......I stayed up until 10:30! Whooooo! Wild woman! LOOk out! Ugh! I just want to grab Pudd'n and go back to bed.

Time to build an ark, its pouring rain out.
I came home from school and did a nose dive in to bed. Steve was kind enough to pick up Pudd'n from school for me so I could get a decent nap in. Now I get to go out in this crappy weather and wait tables. I wonder if we are going to be busy at all.

Did I tell you how much I hate the damn time change? I'm all fucked up today. This morning when I hurridly got Pudd'n on the short bus, I left my car keys on the seat next to him. Thank Goddess I realized this before the bus got off my street. The rest of my day just went down hill from there. The damn copy machine almost ate some legal documents I was copying. Then because it was fucking everything up, I had a hard time putting things back in order. The damn stapler on BOTH machines was out and when Linda gave me a packet of stuff to copy I asked her what I had done to piss her off, why didn't she love me any more? I had to make 60 copies, back to back, collated and STAPLED. FUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!Then we get a call from the new speech pathologist, the mother fucking, cock sucking insurance company is dicking us around AGAIN.Right now I'm soothing my frazzled nerves with a stiff drink. I made some soaps and that helped calm me down a bit too. I need a jaccuzi and Shanahan to rub me down with some oil. Yeah, that's the ticket..........

I hate the fucking time change! Makes me want to move to AZ just so I dont' have to deal with it.
I managed to baby sit Aussies dogs with out Goat puppy drooling on them too much. Winston did gack up some green stuff though. I think he was just grazing on my lush green lawn from all the rain we have had. Work sucked big donkey dicks as usual. I only had a few tables. I was hoping that Athena & Aussie would stop in after picking up the dogs, but they suck too. They never made it in and I was bored out of my skull. Now I can't sleep and I'm losing a precious hour of it too. Stupid time change.

THE SCHMOOPS ARE COMING! THE SCHMOOPS ARE COMING!
Aussie & Athena are going away for the night and I get the privledge of baby sitting their darling dogs. Goat Puppy will be very happy to have his friends over for the night. We went up to the Pond today for "wild winger kids club" and it was a bust. Steve had signed Pudd'n up for the Ducks kids club and at the end of the year, they have a party. Well, we get there and it was SUPPOSE to open at 10am. Some one dropped the ball and we could not watch practice until 11 am. OH JUST FUCKING GREAT! With a normal kid you can explain the delay. Pudd'n don't get it. Then it starts to rain. We have to now stand in line to get wrist bands to get in to the Pond. We said "screw it" and left. Pudd'n wanted to go and I knew if we hung around it would of been a major melt down. Oh well, maybe next year. |
