MY HUSBAND LIKES TO FLIRT WITH DEATH..................
Exhibit #1: We are sitting on the couch and he's going through my just arrived hockey magazine. I have not yet seen it. Steve: Oh look, here's a picture of Shanahan Me: Really? let me see. He then proceeds to snatch the magazine away from my grasp Steve: it's just a small photo Me: I don't care, let me see He refuses to give it to me, so I grab his love handle. I pinch it and twist it HARD. He gave me my magazine. You DON'T keep me from my Shanny. Exhibit #2: We are watching the Detroit game last night Steve turns to me and said: "What would you do if they traded Shanahan?" Me: shut up Steve: seriously, think about it Me: Don't EVER utter those blasphmas words again Steve: would you still be a Detroit fan? Me: If you EVER want me to suck your dick again, you will shut up NOW. Livey.....get the hole ready.........

It's date night folks! And you know what that means!
Time to ride the baloney pony!!! Lucky for me (and Steve) I won't be saying any of the phrases Misty has up at her site. Bad things to say whilst playing 'Hide the Sausage' *Is that it? You remind me so much of my mother... I've had injections that were more fun than this. Could you pass me the tv remote while you're down there? Bored now... Your friend I met the other day, is he single? Frogs! Frogs everywhere! Getthemoffmegetthemoffmegetthemoffme! I really fancy your sister by the way... I never thought I'd miss my ex so much... Great. I didn't have a headache when we started, but now... Can you hurry it up please? I've got a date in half an hour. Ooh, do that again! This time I'll get popcorn and watch. You remind me so much of my brother. He used to do that too Sorry, but if I do that I'll gag, but not because of the size, the smell. Aliens! Aliens everywhere! Getthemoffmegetthemoffmegetthemoffme! Nope, won't be hearing me utter those words! I got me some beer & hot dogs to watch my game tonight. We've also got a few things saved on the DVR, so we can curl up on the couch, listen to the rain and watch the tube. Of course, after a good shagging (or three).

APRIL IS AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH..........
Yeah, I know it's still March. Just thought I'd get a jump on things. My son has what they call "Austims Spectrum Disorder", he falls moderate to severe on the spectrum. He started to change at 18 mths old. He stopped playing with toys, he stopped talking and to go any one's house became a nightmare. I flew to Mich. for my sister's graduation and he cried non stop for 2 weeks. His behavioral vomiting and "wake up calls" (where he'd get up at 2 am and stay up) started then too. My lovely barely speaking English HMO fucking quack kept saying "let's wait and see, boys develope slower". He did not get a diagnoses until he was 2 years old. Behavioral vomiting is SO much fun......NOT. If he did not want to go some where or do somthing, he'd puke. So going to the mall or resturants was an adventure. We'd always carry spare clothes and plastic bags to put them in. The worst is when people look at you like you are a horrible parent for dragging around a sick kid. Then there came the feces smearing. We had to install a security camera in his bed room to catch him before he started to take off his diaper and decorate the place. He started school just for autistic kids right after he turned 2. It has helped a lot to say the least. Pudd'n is now fully potty trained at 9 years and he does not wake up at 2 am as much any more. For the first 7 years of his life, he'd wake up every few hours like an infant. If he'd go back to sleep or not was anyone's guess. We tried everything to get him to sleep in his own room, in his own bed to no avial. So now he sleeps on a twin bed in our room next to ours. The little stinker is starting to weasel his way back on to my side of the bed and I spend most of the nights trying to keep him in his bed. Pudd'n can now say a handful of words and with help he can put a short sentance together. He still does not have an interest in toys. He likes to watch his favorite videos and will some times play with markers, balls and puzzles. He loves to be read to and look through photo albums. Pudd'n cannot read or write and will have to live in some sort of assited care for the rest of his life. He is the greatest joy in my life. He has taught me so much. I've learned more from him in the 9 years that he has been on this earth than the 30 that I lived before I had him.

Can I go back to bed now?
Pudd'n has been pulling sneaky night manuvers as of late. He'll start out in his bed and in the middle of the night, he starts to weasle his way on to my side of the bed. His twin bed is next to our king sized one. Before I know it, I've got 90lbs of bed hog taking over my pillow and side of the bed. My body is sore and tense. The kid sleeps on top of you and you are bent up like a pretzle. I'm calling the chiropractor today to see if I can get in for a much needed massage today. I hope the receptionist was right and my insurance covers the massages. I just may give up drinking and get massages all the time. Naaaaaaaahhhhhh............

Pea patch up date............
Got an email from my girl Sandy. She's having one heck of a time setting up her new puter, but I'm sure she'll figure it out soon. She did take her site down though. Censorship was taking over and she just figured she'd take a break from it. Will she put up a new site? I don't know. I hope she does.

Hot Damn!
It looks like my insurance may cover some massage therapy for me! I'm one big ball of knotted muscle. Yeah, sure, it'd be nice if I could get a massage from the hub. But he's tactile defensive when it comes to lotions & oils. So a decent back rub, I rarely get. I'm wetting myself just thinking of a nice relaxing massage. It's been over a year since my last one. It is a luxury item for sure. Over the weekend I managed to burn my face and I was sober when I did it too damn it! I was curling my hair for Aussie's party when my fingers slipped and the curling iron touched my face. It's loads of fun trying to get ready with an ice cold diet coke can pressed to your face. Luckily the restaurant was dimly lit, so no one noticed. Can't miss the damn big scab I got going on right now! Well, time to catch 3rd period of my game. Go Redwings!

Good Times!
What a great time we had last night. The food was fabulous, conversation stimulating and the company a riot. Athena ordered this fancy blue drink and when the waitress brought it, the first thing that popped out of my mouth was "it looks like a big blue dildo!". Athena drank four of those suckers. Aussie drank her key lime martinis like they were water. Damn those things were good! Aussie got some great pressies and we hammed it up for the camera. Soon as I get off my lazy ass, I'll down load a few photos. I gave the girls thier Yule gifts from Dru and told them of the darling beer stines she got me. They have gargoyles on them ( I like them as much as I do goats!) Maybe now that Athena has some time on her hands, we can get together more often. Well, it's nap time before I have to make dinner and go off to work. Later gators.

PEA PATCH
Well folks, if you come here wondering what is going on at Sandy's, I have no clue! Sandy was the last one to post on Friday? Everything looked fine by Friday night and yesterday that is when the problem started. I swear I didn't touch anything that I wasn't suppose to (unless you count the liqour cabnet! LOL!). I have not heard from her and have no idea what to tell you. Sorry I could not be of any more help.

Men & Laundry.
James over at Old & Evil has "remembered" a story about me & Sandy. He seems to think that we were fighting over a man. Silly James, men are like buses. There is a new one every 20 min. We'd never fight over a man. What were we fighting over? Laundry soap. Yep. Seems Sandy is reeeeeeeeaall passionate about her Tide. Don't be knocking her Tide or she just might come out swinging.

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH.......relaxation.
They are doing construction at our school and I've managed to pick up my 3rd fucking nail in 2 weeks. Lucky for us, the tire place we go to is at the mall. So we dropped off the short bus and went to a place called King's. They are a Cajun themed place with lots of good seafood. We sat in the bar, ordered several appitizers and had some drinks. I had the BEST Heffenwisen there. Made me think of Sandy over in Germany. We then strolled through the mall and window shopped. I did pick up nifty little book on VooDoo at the book store there. It was still such a beautiful warm night when we got home, that we walked the dogs. When the proceeded to pass out at 8:15pm. Yeah, we are a wild couple for sure.

MY BRAIN IS MUSH........
Yesterday my sophmores had to take the CASEE exit exam. You have to pass it before you can graduate from high school. Isn't it early to be taking this test you ask? Nope, not at all. My brain was MUSH by the time I left. They started the test at 1pm and I left at 3pm so I could make it to my 2nd job on time. Linda and a few students did not leave until 5:30 pm!!!! And that was just the ENGLISH part of the test. Today they had to cover the math part. I had emptied my cubbords of half eaten bags of assorted chips that Pudd'n didn't want and brought them in for the kids to snack on when they would take a break from the test. I also brought some soda pop too. Glad I did, those poor kids were worked! Hell, I was worked with all the explaining I had to do with some of the questions. I had to read the questions through a few times myself! And the written essay part? These kids can't spell worth a shit. I never had to spell so many words in my life! I was feeling kinda whimpy about feeling so worked after yesterday until I walked in the class room. Linda was dressed like me. We both had on volour sweat suits, no make up and hair in pony tails. I laughed when I saw her. The kids were whipped too, so all we did was watch a movie. And on Friday we'll do the same. I think I'll pick up some chips & salsa for the kids for Friday's class. They've earned it, they are good kids.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO DREAM, DREAM BIG RIGHT?
There is this house that I've liked for some time and it's on the way to Pudd'ns school. It just recently went up for sale, so for shits & giggles, I stopped by to get a flier. Any one got half a mil. laying around they don't need and want to give me? No, didn't think so........ It's everything I'm looking for in a home. 3 bed, 2 bath, singel level, hard wood floors through out, fire place, screened in patio, good neighborhood and LARGE yard. *Heavy sigh* A girl can dream........

A BLESSED OSTARA TO YOU TODAY.
Ostara is one of the eight major holidays, sabbats or festivals of the Wiccan wheel of the year. It is celebrated on the spring equinox, in the northern hemisphere around March 21 and in the southern hemisphere around September 23, depending upon the specific timing of the equinox. Among the sabbats, it is preceded by Imbolc and followed by Beltane. The holiday is a celebration of spring and growth, the renewal of life that appears on the earth after the winter. In the book Eight Sabbats for Witches it is characterized by the rejoining of the Mother goddess and her lover-brother-son, who spent the winter months in death. This somewhat resembles the biblical story in which Jesus is resurrected, which Christians celebrate on Easter.

HOT DAMN!
Last Yule, Kerry gave me her "old" surround system. Today when I got home, there was a cable guy hooking everything up for me. So while Steve is out running last minute errands before dinner, I'm playing me some Sly & the Family Stone at ear splitting volume. Get some revenge for that rap crap I'm forced to listen to from my neighbors. Another treat was talking to Sandy from over at the Pea Patch. Her computer took a crap, so she gave me the keys to her place to post a bit. MUH HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Oh the EVIL I could do, but her momma reads her blog. JUST FUCKING GREAT!
Yesterday I'd figure I'd kill two birds with one stone. I was taking the goat to the do it yourself dog wash and the place where I get my bird's nails & wings trimmed is in the same area. My birds are outside birds, always have alway will. Birds are messy creatures and I don't need any more of a mess in my house. Well, last year my niece Lisa got tired of having the responsibility of taking care of her bird, so she brough him over here. All three birds got a long great. As I'm trying to catch the little fucks, Meeka manages to get out and fly over the fence. I race to the front yard to find him gone. I hear his screech and I see he's flying around the house and then off to who knows where. Bummer.

It looked like work was going to suck wind tonight. But it luckily turned out great.
I had one couple come in and order some food to go, they sat at the bar while they waited for the food. I could tell that they were not from around here. They had a lovely southern lilt to their voice, I knew it wasn't Georgia, I'd reconize that off the bat. Turns out they were from Tennisee. Another clue they were not from around here? THEY WERE POLITE!!!! They said "please" and "thank you". Common curtosies that my grandma beat into my thick skull. It is amazing how a little common curtosy can go a long way. People are just not polite any more. Well, at least in these parts.......

MY LIVER IS EVIL...........IT MUST BE PUNISHED.
What a weekend! Sat found crappy ass weather. I swear I thought I was in Michigan. We had rain, hail, snow and rainbows. We figured we'd hold off on the Irish festival until sunday. So Pudd'n & Steve got hair cuts and we did some shopping before we dropped Pudd'n off at Grandma land and headed in to the inland empire for Sandy's soriee. Lots of good food, drink and company ensued. We made it home and passed out. Sunday was brisk & cool, but no rain. So we headed up to the fair. Everything was moved indoors. I didn't get to ogle too many men in kilts. The weather really kept everyone away. We enjoyed watching the kids do the traditional Irish dance. They were so darn cute! There were no wolfhounds about and that was a bummer. After we ate our fill and saw all the booths we came home for a power nap and then off to the hockey game. The Duck were playing the Coyotes and proceeds from that game went to Cure Autism Now. They even had a severly autistic child drop the puck. It was a good game, but we were glad to be home. Now I'm just relaxing before I have to go to a baby shower. I think I'll have Steve drive me so I can have a few drinks. Hope every one had a good weekend. Oh, and if you want the recipe to the whiskey soup, email me with your snail mail address and I'll photo copy it off and send it to you. I'm too lazy to type it here. irishwhiskey66@yahoo.com

WIFE SWAP..............
I don't know if any of you caught that show this week. Seems a Wiccan High Priestess and and Iowa stay at home slave........um I mean mom changed places. Let me tell you now that those who practice Wicca are not like that woman on tv!! Sure she very spiritual and she incorperated her beliefs in to her family. But it was waayyyyyyy over board! I believe in the fey just like the next good Irishwoman, but hell, I KNOW they are not going to be cleaning MY house! That job is up to me and my husband! Her house was nasty filthy! How could you raise kids in such filth? And the "coven" memebers got to come & go as they pleased. No thank you! I enjoy having company over as much as the next person, but you set your limits. Hell, every one knows not to call past 8:30 pm here or else they are in for a world of hurt. The Iowa mom claimed she LOVED being a slave........uh, sorry, stay at home mom. She had no sense of self what so ever. She owned 2 pairs of jeans and wore her husband's shirts. She waited on her men hand & foot. There was no equal partnership there and in my opinion, she was a servant. She had to ASK for money to go shopping, her husband spent ALL his free time in the garage and even on poker night she had to SERVE him and his cronies. FUCK THAT! Both women seemed to have learned something by the end of the show. The Wiccan woman finally realized FAMILY came first, not your religion and they no longer had the coven. The Iowa mom claimed that her family appriciated her more and even her son started doing chores.

Emergence.
Pudd'n is finally starting to emerge from his prison of autism. Its baby steps, small things really. But we are noticing it. His eye contact is much better and he's making more of an effort to use language when he wants something. Most times I have to prompt him to talk. He has to REEEAALLLY want it to speak on his own with out prompting. He's also not watching as much tv as he used to. He wants to interact with you more. So we are breaking out the play doh, markers & paper and getting out the puzzles. Trying to find more stimulating things for him to do. One can only play "tickle" for so long. He's even playing his computer games more. We are excited to say the least.

The Slimey fucking WHORE turned narc a while back, so she'll be with people she put away. I hope she gets shanked. It will make Homer's life easier that is for sure. Homer is my brother in law for those who don't know. 2 years ago Steve and I started to get custody of his kids Bart & Lisa because he would not sober up and we'd be DAMNED if we'd let that fucking piece of shit get custody of the kids again. Homer had a 4.4 blood alcohol level when Steve took him in to rehab, yeah, SOB should of been dead. Once he realized we were serious on taking his kids away, that was finally enough encentive for him to sober up. He's been sober almost 2 years now. Any way, he still lets the kids talk to the fucking brown stain, so he just found out about the pending jail sentance. Lisa really only talks to the woman that gave birth to her (I can't say "mother" because the CUNT was never a mother to those kids). Bart wants nothing to do with the Cunt. So with any luck, the walking pile of shit will be put away for a few years and give Homer some peace of mind.

Eh, since I have nothing to post about, I'll do this meme again. I lifted it from Sandy over at the Pea Patch.
"If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often or don't really know each other) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me. It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you!"

And here are some of the lyrics to the song milkshake.
My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard And they're like, it's better than yours Damn right it's better than yours I could teach you but I have to charge" One thing is for sure: you know how to shake it

My husband is such an ass...........
We've got the radio going and Joe Cocker's song "You are so beautiful" is playing. I hear Steve singing along to the song. Then WHAT he's singing sinks in. Instead of: "you are so beautiful to me" He's singing: "you are so EVIL to me". Fucker.

MY EVIL AUNTIE ROCKS!!!!
After many failed attempts at doing a decent web page, my Evil Auntie offered to do one for me. So hopefully by this time next week, I'll have one up and going. For now I'm going to have to suffer with my kindergarten attempts at one.

Some days I just get so tired of everything.
Some days I just get so tired of trying. I just want to crawl back in to bed and say "fuck it".

This time next weekend I'll be at the Irish festival trying to subltly peek up men's kilts.
It will be strange with out Venus there, since she's living in AZ now, she won't be there. One of my favorite memories is when Lili, Missy and I went for the first time. There was this larger than life sized rocking horse. Missy and I doubled up and went for a ride. Lili could not, she got some serious fucking the night before and was too sore. So there we are, the guy is rocking the horse for us and Missy starts moaning like she's ready to have a huge orgsam. Then she starts moaing my name too.....Oh MAEVE, yeah MAEVE! Needless to say, we caused some whip last of some guys walking by. I can't wait to see the Irish Wolfhounds, they are so awesome. I bet they don't eat couches like the Goat Puppy does. After the fair we have Steve's cousin's birthday party to go to. Sandy knows how to throw a party, so a good time will be had by all. I got a good laugh when I talked to Sandy. I was explaining to her at first I thought it would just be me coming to the party since Steve was "on call" starting that weekend. Well, since we've got so much planned next weekend, steve traded weeks with one of the guys. Sandy told me that our other cousing "miss priss" would not be coming because her husband is out of town and she does not like to drive that far(an hour)by herself with the kids. (Fuck, try flying 5 hours with a severly autistic kid BY YOURSELF!) "You're joking me, right?" I asked her. Nope was her reply, seems Miss Priss is getting more eccentric with age. What ever! More Mexican food for me!

I've been tagged by my beer drinking buddy Sandy over at the Pea Patch. Ugh! Now I have to actually THINK! And that hurts the ol' pickled brain cells.
List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your blog along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to. Okay, in no specific order: Mummers Dance- Lorena McKennet Blury- Puddle of Mudd Caribian Blue- Enya My Sacrifice- Creed Posession- Sara McLaughlin If Anyone Falls- Stevie Nicks Keeps you running- Doobie Brothers All righty then, I think I'll tag: 1. GW 2. Misty 3. Kellie 4. Catfish 5. Crazy Rider Lady 6. Athena 7. Ordanary Joe

I need some sleep.
Yeah, tell you something you don't know right? Every day this week, I've been up by 2-3 am. It's not even a full moon! Pudd'n has figured out that all he needs to do is slide over and he can sleep next to me. He no longer asks to come in to bed, he does it with stealth. So by the time I realize he's hogging my pillow, I wake up and he's alseep. This forces me in to the middle of the bed. Ugh! I can't move him because he's dead weight and as most of my friends know. You DON'T wake up Pudd'n because he just LOVES to get up and stay up. Just like this morning at 2 am! Now that I'm uber tired, it's making me feel depressed. I hate that feeling. I hate feeling sad and the "is this all there is to my life?" crap. It sucks to be me right now. |
