Flank Steak in a mushroom wine sauce.1. 1-1 1/2 lb flank steak
1/3 c. Cab wine ( I use barefoot Cab and I use a wee bit more than a 1/3 c)
1 tablespoon of souy sauce
1 clove garlic minced
1 10 1/2 oz can of beef broth
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 table spoon mustard
1 small onion finely chopped
1 packed of Lipton onion/mushroom soup mix
3 table spoons corn starch
1/4 cup water
1/4 fresh mushrooms
Place steak in crock pot. In small bowl combine next 8 ingredients and pour over steak. cover and cook on low 6 hours. turn control to high, dissolve cornstarch in water in a small bowl. stir into sauce in cooker, add mushrooms. cover and cook on high for 20 min.
I usually make this up the night before and put it in the fridge to marinate. YUM.
Voila!
Dinner is served.
