I WAS going to bitch about being up early.........

And then I remembered the Winter Solstice today. So it looks like I'll be greating the first rays of the sun today. :)
Work has been its usualy crazy busy place and yet they have laid off a lot of people. They are weeding out the people that are just not working out and getting constant customer complaints. They have even fired a few due to theft.
Tomorrow I go in to have a scope jammed down my throat so they can check out my ulcers. In three months I have to go see my regular Doc again for an ultra sound on my left kidney. It appears I have an inch and a half cyst on it. I'm trying not to freak, but given my family's history with kidney problems............ugh.
Getting old sucks.
I'm looking forward to Christmas eve so I can carry on my husband's family tradition of an all fish dinner (he's Italian). This year I'm going to make some cippino for the first time.
I've got some rum balls marinating in the fridge too.
I can't wait.
