Vacation recap
A few more snaps from my trip. The top one is my BIL, he's a fireman and getting ready to put out the grease fire from the bbq...........OOPs!The one of GP & Spaz was taken on the 4th. We had a blast.
All right then. Here is the recap of my trip.
I flew out on a red eye and arrived in PA Sunday am. The plane was crowded and I could not fall asleep for the life of me. So I'm tired, cranky, my back is killing me and all I want is a stiff drink to take the edge off. Spaz & I met up in the airport and we loaded up the car to head back to her brother's so I could change and get ready for our trip. It is then that I find out in PA you have to buy your liquor from a state run store and none are open on Sunday.
WTF?!?!
This does not help my mood. You could not even get beer or wine at 7 eleven.
FUCK.
What you can do is go to a bar, drink there and you can buy a 6 pack of beer to go. Ok, what ever. Just get me something to take the edge off.
The drive through PA was stunning. I absolutely loved it. We get to our hotel and it took a bit to find a bar that was open and had decent food. We found a place and began to stuff ourselves silly. We ordered a six pack to go, sadly it had to be a sixer of some crappy ass beer. Ugh, this shit was nasty. But we were desperate. A target store was near by so we bought snacks to settle down for the evening and watch some True Blood.
We left early in the am and after leaving a rest stop in Ohio we managed to run over a wood chuck.
Lovely.
The little fucker was in the middle of our lane and we sure as hell was not going to swerve to miss him. For some strange reason we just were not in the mood to roll our car and get injured over an animal that is in the middle of the freeway.
We made it to MI in good time. Needless to say we hit up a grocery store and got me some whiskey and food for the week.
