Queen of the under world meets Jeebus
Next month when PMS strikes, I think Steve will be waving this cross in my face while splashing holy water on me.
Steve went to go visit his great Aunt B over the weekend. She had to move in to assisted living, even though she is sharp as a tack at 91 years young. Being the good Catholic boy that my husband is, he complimented her on the above cross. I guess it had been packed away until her move in to the senior home since we had never seen before. She promptly gave it to him. It has been in the family since the 50's. She explained that is was used when your family priest would visit the sick. The crucifix changes in to a handy dandy mini alter holding candles & holy water.I'm happy to announce that it did not burn my hands when I held it.
