Stick a fork in me, I'm done!
Lord did I ever eat my way in to a food coma today! Dinner ended with me & Aussie fighting over who was going to get the slices of pumpkin pie that several people in our group did not want.I picked up my marines 8 am sharp.
These were the quietest boys I've ever had yet.
They didn't smoke and when I offered them a beer, they looked at me as if I had two heads.
"Ma'm, we are not allowed to drink".
Okaaayyyyyyy.
Well they did loosen up a bit by dinner to nurse, but not finish a beer. One boy C. was having a real hard time in boot camp and he did not feel he was cut out for a life in the military. This boy did not crack a smile all day; he was tighter than a drum. I suggested maybe he could talk to a Chaplin. I have no idea what it takes or if he can get out of his contract.
All in all, it was a nice day. Now it is time to relax.
