Sheri & Erica made to our place around noon. Sheri was very sweet to give me a beautiful hand blown green glass ball. Erica makes them and they truly are beautiful. I already have a purple one, so this one will fit in nicely! She also had a little flag from her country for Pudd'n to play with.
We had a nice lunch. Erica had a story of deer bones I'll never forget and am still giggling every time I think of it. Steve was kind enough to drive us from Lag. Bch down to San Clemente. Lag. Bch was over populated as usual, San C. not so bad; but still no parking. We stopped in San Juan so I could show them my tiny town. I was hoping to get them in to the Swallows Inn, but they were having a fun raiser and packed to the ceiling. So we strolled around the antique barn instead and took in the few shops that we do have in town. It was a great time and Sheri was just as lovely in person as she is on line.
Today is the start of summer school and I don't have a job. I have an interview at 11 at a Italian restaurant today. The local drug store is hireing too. I'm sure I can scare up something. I'm also nervous because Pudd'n starts middle school today. I'm hoping everything goes smoothly. Unfortunatly it won't be at his regular location. His middle school is going to another location for the summer. It would be easier if they just stayed put. Not much I can do about that.
