Thank God/dess it's the weekend!
There was no rest for this wicked person yesterday!
After I got out of work I went up to the gym, worked out, went to the bank, the store, picked up my kid, dropped him off at grandma's, went to Las Golandrinas, came home, quickly picked up the house, showered and had a at home meeting with Pudd'ns teacher.
Luckily Steve came home in enough time to finish the meeting because I had a 5pm massage that I was NOT going to miss. At 7pm I had to be back at school/work to watch one of my students perform in a "Star search" compitition.
We had a great time and there are a lot of talented kids! Although in the 10th grade division I think the judges needed to be bitch slapped. This one girl blew the compitition out of the water and they gave the prize to some one that was tone deaf!!!
The did the same thing with the 10th grade boy division. I seriously wanted to ask them what the fuck were you thinking?
The girl I came to see did not win, but she did a damn great job. I am so proud of her.
Also last night a crowd of people got together for a candle light vigil for those three kids that were killed in last week's car accident (semi not stopping in time and slamms in to the back end of a mini van).
All week long, the people of the city where the kids lived were tying blue & pink ribbons on everything.
Then some people started putting them on their cars. Steve called me on his way in to work and it seems several neighboring cities have gotten in to the ribbon tying support. Not only were there ribbons, but now balloons and some one with a sign shop made up signs for over passes.
Steve is at work, Pudd'n is at grandma's, I think I'll crawl back in to bed.
