Now, I did not turn 18 until the fall of '84. I checked out '85's number one hits and they all sucked, so I'm sticking with '84 even though the year was almost over with.
1. Against all odds (take a look at me now)-Phill Collins.
I remember seeing this cheezy ass movies at the drive in. I saw it with my friend Renee and her brother Jack. It was also the last time I ever had the pleasure of going to the drive in. I miss going to those.
2. Footloose- Kenny Loggins.
Spaz and I could not afford to go with our school's senior trips to exotic lands. So we made our own Senior trip. She used to live up in Traverse City, so we packed up her little honda civic and headed up there. We had a blast, the bath tub was filled with beer and people coming in & out of our hotel room. We saw Footloose while we were there, the whole sound track brings back some great memories.
3.Missing You- John Waite.
Ah this song. When I came out here to Californifcation on vacation, I got involved in what we would call a "playa" now a days. He broke my heart in to a millions little pieces. When I went back to Michigan to pack my stuff up to move back here, this song used to make me think of him. Now when I hear the song, all I can think of was what a dumb ass I was. But hey, I was only 17/18 years old.
4. Out of Touch- Hall & Oats.
This song reminds me of this place I used to go to shoot pool and check out guys.

5. Owner of a Lonely Heart- Yes
Many memories with this one. Mostly revolve around working at my very first waitressing job at Bill Knapps and the crew I hung out with. (Have you ever seen the movie "Waiting"? 98% of that movie was a flash back to when I worked night shift.)
