Yesterday my mom won VIP tickets to the red carpet opening of that new movie Hillary Sw*ank is in. The premire was being held allllll the way up in Westwood. I asked Linda how far it was since she's more in to this stuff than I am. She told me I'd have to leave at 2 pm to make the 7 pm preshow party. Even though it was only going to take 2 hours to get there, I could not leave any later because traffic would be too bad.
Um, no thanks!
I called my mom back and thanked her for thinking of us. But just to give the tickets to some one else. Even if I did want to go, Steve could not leave work on such a short notice. We were passed out in bed last night by 9:30 and dragging our butts out of bed at 5:30. We never would of been able to handle last night's festivities.
Man we're getting old.
