Did some one link me and I don't know about it? I got 62 hits yesterday.
I never get 62 hits unless some one links me.
Hell, I'm amazed that I get 40 hits a day.
You people that bored?
I know, you come here when you can't sleep and my blathering knocks you out.

Light a candle and say a prayer of thanks for the wonderful men & women serving in your military.
I like to get those tall candles in glass jars at the grocery store. They burn nice and long.

Everything happens for a reason right?
I didn't go in to work tonight. Wasn't feeling up to it, my shoulders were still hurting. We dropped Pudd'n off at my mom's as usual and we decided to head down to C.C. for some munchies and visit with Kerry.
Steve sudgested a movie when we were done, so we headed out to the video store.
As we left I noticed our friend Kelly in the parking lot.
Kelly was running.
Kelly is the mother of TWO autistic sons. One is really severe with a lot of behavioral issues. One big issue is running off and or sneaking out of the house. He's been found by police walking on the freeway two times. Kelly had to finally put her son in a group home. He's a head taller than her and his issues were out of her control. That woman did everything she could for him too.
So, back to Kelly running.
It finally clicked in our pea brains that her son must be home for the weekend and he bolted again.
Steve spots him and goes running after the boy. I kept up best I could, I had on 3 inch sandals. Steve catches they boy and he & Kelly try to get him under control. Kelly is out of breath and her son is putting up a good fight. We ask where her younger son is and she had to leave him parked in the car while she chased her older son. Steve got the keys from her and I took a hold of Peter. Kelly and I steered Peter to the car while Steve ran ahead to see if the younger son Tim was ok. Tim wasn't phased by any of this. He's pretty high functioning autistic.
Kelly's husband finally shows up, I don't know where the hell he had gone to, but it took 3 of us to shove Peter back in the van. Steve put on the safty locks on the doors so Peter could not bolt again.
Steve and I were pretty shaken up. Peter is a big kid, he's a head taller than both of his parents. One of my regular customers witnessed all this and I briefly explained to her what was going on. It was quiet a scene.
As we left I said "oh great, I'm suppose to be home resting and the last thing I need is some one to tell slappy I was out and about"
(remember, I'm suppose to be at work).
Steve said "Maeve, we were suppose to be here tonight to help out. Everything happens for a reason".

The results are in.
I forgot to tell you all about the results of Pudd'ns hair, fecal & urine samples.
Basically he's looking pretty good. Low in vitamin C and his yeast levels are border line, but nothing to be alarmed about. He is a little high in candium (not good)
He also has no mercury in his hair.
That sounds good right? No mercury.
Every one should have something show up on that hair test.
The doctor says Pudd'n is only the 2nd one he's seen like this. It is his theory that Pudd'n is not releasing these heavy metals he's getting in to his system. How is he getting them?
Water through our taps. Bath water, cooking water. Stuff like that.
We'll be getting a kit to test our water and another test for Pudd'n that covers heavy metals. If he tests positive, time for dextoing!
Oh fun, oh joy!

One step forward, three steps back.......or so it feels.
Back in March when we went to the Irish Festival, they gave us free tickets to a Ren.fair that takes place in Riverside. So we figured we go and only have to pay for Pudd'ns ticket.
Pudd'n did not like this idea.
He tantrumed for a good 35 minutes straight. He cried, he pulled on my arms, he head butted my arms, he pinched me and made quiet the spectical of himself. What was worse were the stares we got. Some people knew right away that Pudd'n wasn't "normal" and gave us a sympathetic smile. Others looked down their noses at us and I wanted to punch them in the face. Good thing no one made any smarmy comments.
Pudd'n finally calmed down and we eventually got to make a candle and paint a little dolphin. The fair was not that big and we were basically out of there in an hour.
We were drained. Really, really drained.
I had gotten a massage the day before and I was sore again. Not as bad as last time, but this time my shoulders hurt like a son of a bitch. It feels like knifes are being stabbed in the shoulder sockets.
So yeah, with Pudd'n tantruming on my arms, I felt reeeeeeeeaaaaaallly sore and exhausted when we left.
Today will be a better day. The sun is out, we will go to the beach and Venus is in from AZ. She'll be going to the beach with us, it will be nice to catch up with her since beotch don't blog no more.

Pudd'n is becoming a regular little chatter box.....
Last night grandpa was resting on the couch. Pudd'n wanted to play.
"Up Grandpa" came out of his mouth, clear as a bell.
Grandpa happily complied.
My son is finally emerging.

What a fun night.
Lili had won free appitizers and cheap booze from a sports bar she and her hub frequent after church.
So they invited a bunch of friends for a great time.
T.Vs were ever where and we got to watch the Ducks wake the fuck up and play some hockey. 3 more games and they go to the cup.
Lili's brother Kev showed up. Now I have a wicked crush on him. I was glad to see him, but damn! He was blocking my view of the hockey game!
Me: Hi Kev, get the fuck out of my way! Can't see the game!!!!
Later during 2nd period we chatted a bit. He ordered some appitizers. I asked what he got.
Me: well, if you want some raw tuna, I've got some you can eat.
I then realize that the hub is sitting next to me and he's heard my smarmy comment.
Oh well, it's all good. He knows I'm just joking.........sort of. LOL!
Hey, don't think I'm not thoughtful of my man.
Some girl was passing out "bud light beads" and I said to her why don't you flash my hub? She got all flustered.
"um, he can flash you"
Me: no thanks, seen them before, why don't you give him a thrill and flash yours.
She scampered off real quick.

All is semi right in my world.
I'm trying not to let the PMS get the better of me. I'm bloated,& irritable and it's damn hot outside. I should be doing something fun with Pudd'n, but I have no energy. I just had to fork over $300 for a teeth cleaning and 1 tooth extraction for my terrier. Just to get a phone call from Steve to say "hey, I just had to drop $200 on a brake job".
Thank Goddess for visa.
To help lift my spirits, I keep thinking of hearing Pudd'ns sweet voice ask for a soda this am.
I also have Lili's little soriee tomorrow night to attend. She won a party at a bar. They are providing free appitizers and cheap booze.
I'm all over that! It's date night too. Athena should hopefully be there after her first day at her new job.
I think I need to win the lotto.

PUDD'N JUST SAID "SODA" ALL BY HIMSELF!!!!!!!!
When ever Pudd'n wants something, we have to prompt him.
"I want _____".
He can say "I" easily, "want" is a little harder and what ever it is he wants, we sound out the word.
Today with out prompting he came to me and said "I want (garbled) soda".
I started cheering, jumping up and down and kissing his sweet face. Hell, I even grabbed in a big bear hug to boot. The poor kid actually looked embarassed over my jubilation. *grins*
I then promptly called steve to share the good news with him.

The circle of life........
My cocktails almost became a hawk's breakfast this morning. My birds are in an outside avery underneath my covered patio. That hawk actually landed on top of the avery and even tried getting at them through the mesh in the front. Man did those birds squawk! I had to re cover them to calm them down. I almost got a picture of Mr. hawk too. He was sitting up on my neighbor's roof glaring down at the cage. Damn! I could of been like KeesKeenis and posted a photo of the "wild life" in my back yard! LOL! Some how, my puny little hawk is nothing compared to the wild animals that could make KK their breakfast!

Come Tuesday, Pudd'n will be in his new class room. I am excited and sad. Excited that he will be with kids that have language and sad because since he's in district he won't have swim class or as many field trips as the county program does. At least I won't have to worry about him being attacked. The worse that could happen is he will hear another student swear. We laughed when we heard that. Steve pipes up with "Im sure my wife will be the one to blame when Pudd'n starts swearing like a sailor".
Guilty as charged.
Work turned out better than I expected. It started out slow and I got to play with a 5 mth old baby. He was so damn cute and what a chunk! At one point I had to take care of a few tables, I handed him back to mom. When I got caught up, he was fussy and I offered to take him. Got a good burp out of him and he was happy again. They tipped me $15.00 on a $45.00 check.

I may never leave my computer chair again.
We finally broke down and bought a new one after 10 long years.
Now all I need is a new computer table, I'm tired of my key board falling in my lap.
Oh yes, a new wrist rest too. One that is not full of holes poked in to it by a certain autistic child who will remain nameless.

Even though the weather was crappy, we went on our first family outing at the beach. Pudd'n and Goat were beside them selves with excitement. Soon as they saw the beach gear come out of the garage they both were running excitedly about. We only lasted a half hour because the water was cold. But damn, did they have fun. Now my house smells like wet dog and Pudd'n is the happiest I've seen him in a while.
We had to pick up a few things for my mom and lucky for us, Pudd'ns favorite Chinese place was on the way. So I ordered him up his favorite dish and I got us some egg rolls. I love me some egg rolls! They are doing major construction in the area of where we had to go, so Steve took the back way in. We saw a homeless man digging through the trash. On our way out, I gave him our egg rolls. I hate to see people go hungry. It bugs me that that happens. Here we are a rich nation and some people go to bed with no food.
Well, it's time for me to get ready to go to work.
Hope ya'll had a good weekend.

We were going to the park last night and last minute I said "screw it" and went to the beach. Even though it was over cast, the water was nice and in the blink of an eye. Pudd'n was stripped to his skivvies. He and the Goat had a blast and I capped off an emotionally charged day with a beautiful sight. My son laughing and playing at his most favorite place on earth. (next to grandmaland of course).

Got to love that PMS!!!
Today in 2nd period they had a writing assignment dealing with the holocaust. It always makes me psyically ill when we have to go over that. It sickens me to the core that people are like that to each other. That that crap still goes on.
Next class was tutorial and one of my favorite boys confided in me his no so nice first years of his life. That made me even more sad that a mother was that way to her child.
I then had to hunt down a teacher for their signature on some paper work and stumbled upon the "crash" assembly. With prom coming up, the school wanted to make sure to drive home the point of not drinking and driving.
I thought I walked on to a Hollywood movie set.
They spared no exspense at making their point. We had several fire trucks, ambulances and police. We had over turned cars and "victims". We had "dead bodies" and crying, hysterical survivors. The ambulances "took away" the "injured" and used the jaws of life on those "trapped" in one of the cars. I lost it when a "mother" came to the scene and started crying over her dead child. The ladies next to me started dabbing thier eyes too. They were moms of teenagers. They were watching thier worst fears in front of them.
I had to leave at that point. I sure as hell had enough depressing crap for one day.
I hope to God it left an impression on those kids and they use some common sense.

So far so good.
Pudd'n hasn't been as whiney and they said he had a good day at school.
Mommy on the other hand has some raging PMS.
She was ready to kill daddy over throwing away some pico de gallo.
Man you don't touch my salsa!
There was only a little left and I forgot to put it back in the fridge. Steve threw it away when he cleaned up the kitchen while I was at work.
I made Pudd'n some nachos and looked forward to a wee bit myself. Smothered in salsa of course.
Now mind you I'm very picky when it comes to the stuff.
No canned or jarred crap for me. It has to be fresh with no preservatives in it. I can smell that stuff a mile away.
Oh yeah......it's going to be a good time with the PMS this month.

Man oh man, it is just a matter of time before Marco's goes belly up. I hear that the plaza where it is at is up for sale too. If you ask me, there are too many resturants in there. Two sandwhich shops are right next door to each other and I hear that Stagnant Water Cafe's numbers are down too.
Steve would of made more money in over time than I did the entire night last night.
On a happy note, my favorite bus boy Ponsay is back. It is so nice to have a bus boy that works.
Pudd'n was suppose to get his B12 shot yesterday, but we passed on it. He seems in a better mood so far and he actually fell asleep in decent time last night too. Maybe we'll do them once every two weeks instead.
I just want to crawl back in to bed and go to sleep.
Better yet, I want to be in Cancun lounging by a pool.
No, I want to be in a hammock by the ocean in Cancun.
Yeah. That's the ticket.

Can't anything just ever work out for a change?
We are cutting back on the B12 shots. My son has turned in to a moody little brat. We can't get him to sleep at nights either. He's chewing on things worse than the Goat puppy did. He's hitting and kicking.
I've HAD it!
My nerves are fried and I can feel my neck locking up. My back and hips are killing me and I'm trying desperately to find some peace of mind.
On the up swing, Pudd'n is babbling more and he actually let me know that some poopy dropped on the floor when he came to get me to wipe him bum. His eye contact is better and he seems more "aware" of what is going on around him.
But I can't take this moodiness much more. The whining is grating on what little nerves I have left.
No wonder I drink.............

A tribute to my mother.
I had read some really beautiful posts about mothers this weekend. So I thought I'd do one for my mom.
My mom left my dad when I was very young. She worked hard to provide for us and didn't want dad's money for child support. She told him to save it and take me fun places on the weekends.
I never wanted for anything. She always had a roof over our heads, food on the table and I had nice clothes to wear. She kept an immaculate house and she could cook for an army.
My mother was the product of an abusive alcoholic house. Not only did she support us, she supported her mother and siblings too.
My mother never raised a hand to me and never verbally abused me either. She learned how not to be from her own mother.
I know if I ever need anything, she will be there for me. She even now will cook me dinners and she loves Pudd'n as if she herself gave birth to him.
The best advice she ever gave to me was "Maeve, your throat won't get pregnant" when I was a rebellious teen. I carried that advice well in to my life until I got married.
In short, my mom rocks.
Hell, she is my rock.

What a weekend!
Had a blast with the girls. The dogs had a good time running about and we named Dru the Dessert Goddess.
That girl always brings the most darling & delcious desserts! I don't think we've ever ate that much in our lives, holy cow was I stuffed! My favorite story was when Lili told us about the time she took her 15 year old son to get his stiches out of his knee.
Apparently he was really horney.
Well, what about your magazines? she had asked him.
He told her that he was tired of those, he wanted the real thing.
I did my best not to spit my drink all over Aussie when I heard that one.
Mother's Day was nice. Steve was on call, so we really couldn't go any where. He made us breakfast while I played with Pudd'n on the swing set. After breakfast we went down to the pool to play some more.
We were slammed at work which was nice. Made some decent money.
Capped off the day with hot monkey love and watched a few minutes of Brave Heart.
Yeah, it was a good weekend.

Did any one get the number of the truck that hit me?
I thought massages were suppose to relax you and make you feel good.
I'm in some serious fucking pain right now!
The massuse joked she was going to have to cancel 4 hours of appointments just to get the knots out of my back and glutes.
It appears the nice tumble I took down Spaz's basement stairs 6 years ago really fucked me up.
I was speaking in tounges as she tried to massage the thick knots out of my hip & back.
Sure felt good then.
Not so much now.
I checked out the district class and was pleased. Half the kids I knew from when I used to work as a sub for teacher's aids. Only one semi agressive child and he usually likes to tear up paper. Now that they have "his" corner for when he gets over whelmed, he's better.
Pudd'ns I.E.P. is on the 23rd, I'm hoping to get him in the class before that. We'll see.
The massuse told me to drink a lot of water tonight.
Does the ice in my whiskey count?

Today I go and check out a prospective class for Pudd'n to move in to. It is in the same school, only it is a district program. Pudd'n has always been in a county program. If it is to my liking, I can move him immeditly. If not, the search continues. I hope to God I like it, I want him out of his current class and away from that kid. Pudd'n has been doing a wee bit better with the agression, but I want him back to his normal happy self now.
My yard looks so nice all cleaned up. My back and arms are feeling all the work I did! Lucky for me I have a massage at 1pm. I can't wait!! I still have to get to the store to pick up the goodies to make tacos for tomorrow. I can't wait to see the girls and have some fun. The weather is suppose to be nice so we can hang out by the pool if we wish. I have plenty of plastic cups with lids to fill up with yummy margaritas and pool toys to lounge about on.

My mom is the mail order queen. She gets a shit load of catalogs all the time. She just got a really cool one. It is filled with Celtic stuff. Beautiful jewlery, bags, clothes, shot glasses and all sorts of cool stuff. Like a kid with the Christmas catalog, I circled the things that I wanted the most.
I excitedly called my mom with the first of many purchases I'll be making.
Mom: what did you get? Was it the Tree of life tapistry? The stunning pewter owl barrett?
Me: no, I got a ritual knife!
Mom: a knife?
Me: yeah! It's so cool. The handle is made from naturally shed antlers and it was made in Scotland to boot! I've been needing a new ritual knife and this one is perfect.
Mom: oh, that's nice honey.
I also got out of going in to work tonight. Steve is pulling major O/T, so here I sit. He came home, showered, changed, relaxed and then went out for a few more hours of work.
No rest for the wicked.

Man am I whipped.
Pudd'n was wired for sound last night and did not want to go to sleep. He kept babbling and wanting to get out of bed. After 3 trips to the potty with no results, I figured he was yanking my chain.
We finally broke down and gave him a melatonin and that even took a long time to settle him down.
He woke me up at 3 am trying to get in our bed.
Phone rang at 4 am. Steve was on back up call and had to go out.
The alarm Steve forgot to turn off went off at 5 am.
Will some one go schelp tables for me tonight?

My house smells like a Catholic church........
Steve had a good idea of censing the house to help get rid of the heebie jeebies from dealing with the fucking moron.
So I whipped out the frank & myrrh and went through the house. Hell, I even got out my new ritual broom and swept the rooms counter clockwise for good measure.
I then censed the house with my prosperity and my psychic incense. When you get rid of something, make sure you put out the intent of what you DO want. Otherwise the universe will give you something that you just might not really need. The universe has a strange sense of humor like that.

This is my baby brother. Some things never change, he still likes to play in the mud. I'm so geeked to be going to his wedding this fall.

Are we having fun yet?
I had 3 whole table tonight at work.
Lucky for me they were big parties and generous tippers.
Also, if you want to see some stunning photos, go check out "Baboon knowledge" in my blog roll.
Misty has also taken some lovely shots of her holiday too.
Go check them out.

Steve is just taking waaaaayyyyyy too much pleasure in the fact that the Ducks are in the play offs and Detroit is not.
All is quiet on the fucking moron front. I wonder if he bothered to read the letter.
I handed it to him myself yesterday, so I know he got it. My M.I.L. talked to him yesterday, but was too busy arguing over the Cuntbag to see if he had read our letter or not.
All I know is this is the most I've felt relaxed in a long time. We are happy we made the choice, but still sad for the kids. They are starting to mirror their parents and it does not help that fucking moron glorifies drugs & drinking. It is hard to believe that FM and my husband are related.
On to happier thoughts.
The Witchies will be down next weekend for tacos and drunken tarot card readings. Maybe we'll even do a spell or two. We'll see how toasted we get. Ah hell girls, bring your jammies and we'll make it a sleep over.

The boys got their hair cut today. Pudd'n looks so handsome.
We also dropped off a letter to the fucking moron to let him know where we stand with things.
Since he is putting his home, job and welfare of his children in jepordy by his heavy drinking and letting the Cuntbag move back in; we will no longer be his safty net for his children.
15 years is more than enough of dealing with his selfishness. We are done and want off the merry go round.
My only concern is my own child.
If I bring his kids in again, it is going to set us back on the progress we've been making with Pudd'n.
Plus we found out Bart is now smoking dope.
Don't want that in my house or the problems that come with those kids.
I feel bad for saying that and refusing to take them in, but I have to think of my own son's welfare first.

I woke up this morning and my first thought was "how much did I drink last night?".
Then it hit me I didn't.
My head sure felt like it though!
After giving Pudd'n his B12 shot, I ran some errand for my mom and dropped him off at her place. I then went in search of a new kiddy pool for Speedy. I want a smaller one and you'd think it would be easy to find right?
Wally world did not have any, so I went to the big toy chain and they were out of them! Figures!
So home I went with some plants I picked up at wally world. After cleaning the turtle pool, I hit the yard. I fed some of the worms I found to Speedy, she loves fresh earth worms. I now have a new beautiful purple rose bush planted and a few lavender & pink geraniums. Oh, and a few herbs too.
Today I feel like I've been beaten with a 2x4.
At least my head is clearing up.
Steve and I actually went to bed at 8:15 last night. Just before we passed out I said:
"Man, aren't we the wild couple?".

People are really begining to annoy the shit out of me.
Case in point #1.
Fucking moron has let his cuntbag cumdumpster crack whore back in his life. Wether she is there for a day, week or month; I don't know. I'm trying not to react. I'm trying not to get pissed beyond belief because this fucking moron can't pull his head out of his ass, sober up and be a responsible parent.
Case in point #2.
The fucktards next door left their YAPPING rat outside. I want to crank up my music really loud to drown it's incessant yapping, but the lady I share a common wall on the other side of me is home with the flu.
Case in point #3.
Fucking bible thumpers.
They make their rounds through my complex a lot. I've got a big ass sign on my gate saying DOGS LOOSE ON PROPERTY.
What does this idiot do?
He OPENS my front gate to get to my front door!!!!
He's lucky Jack is still not alive or else he'd be a nice snack right about now.
Goat puppy has an impressive bark and that gate shut right quick.
Mr. Bible thumper then discovers the door bell attached to my gate to alert me of his presents. Funny thing was, I was just drawing a tarot card and had the deck in my hand when I opened the gate.
I camly and polietly pointed out that it is NOT a good idea to be opening gates and strolling through when there is a sign posted about dogs.
Lucky for him, he got the hint I was not interested in his bible babble. He and his bible buddy pancho left to go annoy some one else.
I've got Pudd'n in the tub and my house is nice and clean trying to work off my aggrivated feelings that I have churing through me.
I hope this evening turns out better and I won't have to kill any one.
I'm not in the mood to have to hide a body.

This could be a good thing.........
Well, depending upon what time Steve gets home. He's out busting his butt with some O/T and of course, I have to call a quarter at tonight's ritual.
Lucky for me, my mom lives in the same city where the Beltane ritual will be held.
Pudd'n will stay the night at grandmaland and if the hub is not passed out by the time I get home, I just may be riding that may pole again!

I've posted about my neighbors a while back when they first moved in. We had some problems with them throwing crap over the fence in to our yard and the little snot nosed brats teasing Jack. All of that ended when Steve got psycho on them one day.
Well, today when I drove up, I saw a guy standing on the neighbor's front porch. Their porch over looks the walk way up to my gate. You have to pass through my 6ft privacy gate to get to my front door.
What do I see but a smoldering ciggarette butt right in front of my gate.
I don't smoke.
Steve does not smoke.
And I sure as hell know the damn dogs DON'T smoke.
I picked up the offending butt and promptly walked over to my neighbors. Of course they all said that they didn't smoke and it was not theirs.
And I was a virgin on my wedding day too.........

Very, very bitter.
Detroit is out of the Stanley cup play offs.
There is not enough whiskey to ease my pain.
