Last night as we got our stuff together to go to the party ; Pudd'n kept telling us he wanted to open the gift we had in our hands. Pudd'n has never shown an interest in opening presents before! I guided him to the tree and let him open one of his presents early. Steve and I were so excited, we almost did not want to go to the party.
We had a nice time and it was great to up date every one on Pudd'ns progress. One of the gals I ride with is raising her autistic granddaughter. She's high functioning and is now 16 years old. Last night was the first time she stayed home with out a sitter.
I ended up with two beautiful ornaments that were not stolen from me. It was Ashlee's turn to have all of her ornaments "stolen" from her this year. Gail brought the first bottle of Patron (tequlia) and two more followed. All three bottles were empty by the time we left. I took it easy and did not get hammered. The hostess on the other hand........ooooooooo boy! She is going to be hung over this morning. Lori brought Pete to the party this year and Pete was hell bent on getting every one hammered. It was a good time. I can't wait for next year's party.
