Hey Barfliles, how was your weekend?
As you all know, we did the Marine Corps Ball on Sat.
On Sunday we went to my nephew's 1st b'day party. It was held at my step sister's in law's place. They have a big family and lots of grandkids. Their back yard is huge!
It has a swimming pool, delux jungle gym, putting green and they rented a bounce house. Pudd'n was a very happy little man with so much to play with. Here is a shot of him and his grampy playing golf. Eat your heart out Tiger Woods!
My candle party was nice. 4 out of 8 people that rsvp'd showed up. I had a lot of catalog orders from the girls I work with. So I got $200 in free crack. That is a lot of wax to burn. I think I'm set for the year on candles now.
I've been so busy with everything I almost forgot this weekend is the renewal of our wedding vows and family turkey day. Plus I'm going to have to bake up a storm for the actual turkey day for the marines we'll be adopting for the day. We like to send them back to base with a "care package".
Work was a wee bit slow tonight, so Slappy told me to make myself a drink and have a good time. He didn't have to tell me twice. I also pigged out on some chips and salsa. The salsa was so spicy, it cleared my sinuses and made my eyes water. It tasted good going down but I know tomorrow I'll be miserable.
