*Thumps head against the wall*
I was a busy kitchen witch tonight. Making up goodies for a certin witche's birthday that follows mine. I also was tweaking my soaps to sell at the leaky cauldron. L.D. said she wanted lighter color soaps for some of them. Well they do start out light, but the heat from the melting soap and the herbs I use some times makes them a wee bit darker then I want. The soaps darken over time too. Any way, I tweaked the scent of my scorpio soap and added rose buds instead of marigolds and used a "wine" colored dye. The finished product is very pretty, but it's a deep burgandy. Had I used oatmeal instead of the rose buds, I would of been ok.
*Heavy sigh*
In two days I turn 40. I'm at peace with it now. I just use my Evil Auntie as a roll model. She'll be 52 this Dec.
In two days we'll be going to the pomona fair to gourge ourselves on fatty foods and I get to go play with some goats! I loooooooove me some goats! MMMMM we'll be getting some fresh ground corn too! Perfect weather for chili and home made corn bread.
Ah yes, life is good.
