WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Today we lugged our stuff down to the beach. Linda returns from Hawaii today, so no beer tap........um I mean pool side lounging for us. It was early morning and we go to a semi private beach. I noticed this little boy 4 years, 5 at the MOST playing by the shore. Then I notice where his father is......out SURFING. It's a rough surf and it's breaking pretty close to shore, so the father isn't out as far as you usually go. But still, one good wave and that kid could of gotten sucked out. Or better yet, what if some one came up and snatched that kid? By the time the father paddles out of the water, the kid is gone.
Are we just being over protective? The little boy was by himself for a good 40 minutes before grandma (?) and some little girl show up to take charge of him.
The weather for the beach really sucked. In land, it's gorgeous, on the beach there was fog and the water was fucking cold. We were only there for an hour. Had it been warmer, I know we would of been there for a few hours.
I think I'll go take a nap.
