Sunscreen is SUPPOSE to keep you from burning..........right?

Well I saw some sunscreen JUST for the face I thought I'd try. It had spf 30 and it was a name brand. My face is red and so is Steve's. Mind you, I spent 3 hours UNDER an umbrella AND I wore a hat. Steve had a hat on too, we are both red. Pudd'n is fine, of course. I put half a bottle of 45 on him every time we go out. He spent 3 1/2 hours in the water non stop, and when he was done, that poor kid was DONE. Babs came down to join us again, I have a feeling she's going to be pink too.
It was a great day, I lit a candle for those men & women who died fighting for our country and we got a little american flag on a stick to stick in the sand by our umbrella. Of course Aunt Selma had her flag out (as she does every day). What makes me sad is that we are the only house on the street that even flies one on a regular basis. It is a special day and no one else but us has one out.
