Well, Pudd'n is feeling better and I am feeling like utter crap. He picked out some snacks at the grocery store (more than likely he'll turn his nose up at them later on tonight) and he ate most of his meal that I got him at Wendy's. I am not looking forward to tomorrow. High school by day, waitressing at night. Ugh!
Have a few things to look forward to this spring. We have the Irish festivle, Scottish festivle and the Ren. fair to go to. I remember one year we could not get a sitter for Pudd'n and we had to take him to the Irish festivile with us. To get out of things he does not want to do, Pudd'n will "behavior vomit". The kid can vomit on cue............
So, we park the car and start the loooooooong walk to the festivle. Pudd'n starts that whine of "I don't want to be here" and half way through the tunnel he starts dry heaving and then vomiting. These lovely sounds are echoing through the tunnel along with my voice saying "Goddam it Pudd'n, KNOCK IT OFF!!!!". Heads are whipping around to see the "poor sick kid and his evil mother".
Steve and I can laugh now, but then we just wanted to crawl under a rock. Luckily Pudd'n does not do the behavior vomiting as much any more and yes, we've had an upper G.I. done, so no, there is no medical reason for my kid to be puking. It's just part of the Autism.
