It was so much fun yesterday, where do I begin? One of the ladies at work told Steve of a Halloween party her church was throwing. They had bounce houses and all sorts of stuff. So Pudd'n and I went, costumes were encouraged. There were 3 bounce houses and pudd'n was in heaven! So while he jumped to his little heart's content, I got to listen to a live band play Christen music.
After we were done, we came home and set up to pass out candy. Dru came down and she went trick or treating with me & Pudd'n while Steve passed out candy. Dru suprized me with a lovely flask. It was a belated birthday gift, this flask is more "girlie" than my others. Fits in my hand real nice. It's ingraved with "Something Wicked this way comes". I love stuff like that!
I'm a bit miffed at our new neighbors next door. They had 5 car/van loads of friends come over with kids to trick or treat here. That's ok, what got my panties in a wad was that they didn't pass out any candy! Uh, hello! The men stayed in the back, partied and made the front of the house look dark. Plus one stupid fuck actuall parked in the red zone up on the side walk infront of my house!
Well, after all the festivities were said & done. Dru and I did a little ritual. So out came my ritual music, sage and a few other things. Gave the new neighbors a taste of rituals to come! They quieted down and luckily, wrapped every thing up by 9 pm.
I will have to blog later about my ancestor alter, got a good story on that. Right now I have to finish getting ready for work.
