What I miss most about Mexico:
1. The food
2. Sitting out on the patio looking at the full moon on the water.
I was seriously tempted to do some dancing in the moon light on Sat. But there were too many drunk people about. I really, really miss the food. And the nice cold sodas in bottles. Tastes much better in bottles. Don't look so shocked that I drank a soda, some of the stands did not sell any beer! On the way out to the boarder there are people walking between cars selling last minute trinkets. None were selling beer. If they were, they would of made a killing off of me Sunday.
I went into work tonight, hoping to make some money. I didn't even make enough to pay for gas, pathetic huh? I could not believe it was that slow. I was going to pick up a shift tomorrow, but Mario will be working. He takes tables while managing, so forget it. I won't make any $$. Some new "regulars" came in tonight for dinner again. I always thought the husband was a little shy, he never really gave me eye contact and did not speak much. During dinner he did a hand gesture that caught my eye (no he did not flip me the bird). He did this hand flapping gesture when he scratched his nose. A bell went off, this guy has AUTSIM!!! Sure enough, chatting with him, the wife pipes up "my husband has autism". He has Asperger's syndrom which is a high functioning autism (think Bill Gates). So we chat a bit and they ask about pudd'ns level. Marc tells me point blank that they (he & pudd'n) are as different as apples & oranges even though they both have similar traits. I was home by 8 pm, so I got to spend some time with my love.
Tomorrow I go to the dreaded DMV to renew my mug shot. I've been able to renew in the mail for the past couple of years, guess they want a more current photo. Ugh!
