WHAT IS AUTISM?

Autism is a neurological disorder that severly affects an individual's ablility to communicate and to interact with others. Contrary to popular belief, the disorder is not rare; it currently afflicts 1 in every 166 children, a number which has increased substantially in the past five years. Although there has been some promising research into genetic and enviromental factors, the definitive cause of autism is unknown. Autism is a national crisis affecting more than one million americans and costing the nation over $90 billion per year.

I am going to get a t-shirt with Pudd'ns photo on it to wear at the walk. I'm also going to put on the shirt "In honor of my son" above his photo.
