Monday already?
If I had gone to wally world on Friday I know I would have ended up on this site. I needed to run a few quick errand in town but did not feel like changing into shall we say a more tasetful attire?
I was all comfy in my green "kiss me I'm Irish" flannel pants, big red t shirt that said "barn goddess" that had a picture of a rake & manure bucket, slippers and my freshly washed hair pulled in to a pony tail. I know I turned a few heads and not because I looked smoking hot.Sat. found us at Linda's in her pool for 3 hours. It will definitely be the last time until spring. It is getting too chilly to go in the pool. Cathy stopped by for a quick cocktail before heading out to dinner with a friend. Speaking of Cat, I need to call her to see how first day of "auditions" went. I go today for mine. I have a feeling that I'll pass; they are desperate for experienced servers and I'm desperate for a job. Does any one remember the restaurant Fairelle's? (spelled wrong on purpose, don't want a link). That is where I'm applying and why I have to audition. I've been out of work for almost a year now and I feel like this is my last chance at getting a damn job. I've tried every where else including departments stores, ware house chains and drug stores. After Cathy left I took Pudd'n to the local pumpkin patch to play on the blow up toys. His special sitter was here so she got to take her 22 year old ass on those things with him. She's young with a good back, let her earn her keep.And Sunday found me in a church and not bursting in to flames! Shocker eh?My step brother got remarried yesterday. It was a beautiful ceremony and a really nice reception there on church grounds. The bride was stunning and the food was good. I'm happy for him; this one is not bat shit crazy.
