TGIF!!!!!!
Yesterday we went to a new drive in diner that recieved a lot of hype. It was like the old A&W drive ins with girls delievering your food on roller skates after your placed your order in the box next to your car. We usually order two large combo meals and share it between the three of us. Pudd'n will only eat french fries or onion rings, so we'd eat the burgers and the boys would have the drinks. I ordered a shake and figured we'd throw in two chicken strips to see if Pudd'n liked them. The food arrived and boy were we ever dissapointed. They got the size of the shake wrong and when we looked at the fries, they too were a small size and looked like crap. I sent both back and just about shit my pants when that "small" box of fries was actually the large size.WTF?????This box of fries was smaller than a medium size of fries from Mc D's!! Pudd'n didn't like their onion rings and I felt like shit handing him this small ass box of fries. We promptly pulled out and went down the street to Windy's and got him some fries & nuggets there. He ate everything. Oh and to get in to this place first you had to go to the "docking station" up the street at Tarjaye, drive back down to this place and present your "pass" to get in.Needless to say we won't be going back there at all.And on to happier news!July 29th will find me hanging out with my favorite flower Bables! She will be in CA for 24 hrs and we plan to cram as much laughter & grazing of food as we can. She was going to stay the night here, but then came up with the brilliant plan of us just staying at a nice hotel where her appt. is. It will be like a mini Vegas trip that we used to take several years back. I can't wait to see her, I think it has been at least 3 years since she moved out? Two? Either way it has been too long.And speaking of not seeing an old friend in a long time, when I go home this month I will see some one that I have not seen in 28 years!J. found me & Spaz through facebook. I actually knew J before spaz. She and I lived in the same apt. building. AND she'll be bringing her THREE aussie dogs!!!!! Does any one know how to drop 30lbs by the end of this month?No? Didn't think so..........damn!Any way, I'm excited for all the great friends that I will be seeing this summer. I'm geeked beyond belief to say the least!
